it was obviously done as a warning to the gay scene that they are being watched. Fire was a big drug haven for dealers quite obviously as it's pretty much 24/7 open - so dealers don't have to move venues quite so often!

That appears to have been the plan for the White Party weekend at the end of this month.
Guess this might not happen now.
