I'm not a finger food buffet type of girl but i'm bored so......

mini sausage rolls
cheese and pineapple on sticks
mini pizzas

Sainsbury's are doing a special (well they were at the weekend) its a Tapas tray (x 2 for £5) with olives, slices of meats, veggie stuff etc) rather nice they are too!

Dont know how to make any of the following and perhaps a bit fancy....but this was the finger food menu for a work party we just had.....all made by NON-CHEFS!:D

Its my birthday on Saturday too....and Id love a "typical" kids party again....little sandwiches...jelly and ice-cream....cheese & pineapple on sticks.....party rings.....crispy cakes! Mmmm!:D

Mini salmon cakes with a homemade sweet chilli sauce
Langoustines wrapped with smoked salmon and a dill yoghurt
Chicken skewers marinated in garlic and olive oil

Serrano ham on crostini with tomato and a minty pesto
Sesame chicken bites with honey and orange glaze

Falafel with tsatsiki
Mozzarella and piquillo pepper tartlets
Smoked fish bites
Shot glasses of white asparagus gazpacho
Cubes of marinated swordfish
Chocolate loaf cake
Mini lemon and raspberry tarts

How about a little World Cup theme.....a little tapa from each country! That should keep you busy for the next week!8O

hmmmmm..... good good, more more.

the last time i cooked everything from scratch (more or less) and it took forever, so i'm leaning towards the 'buy' option, supplemented by a few specialities de la casa grego.

@ louise - ¡feliz cumpleaños por adelantado!;) :D

tortilla de patatas
mini-quiches baked individually in muffins "moldes"
feta and tomato cherry in sticks
pinaple wrapped in jamón in sticks

Oh! When I had a party at my house when I moved in....we had a fondue.....with a lovely cheese sauce and loads of plates of pre-made things like....tortilla, chorizo, crisps, baguette, olives, chicken skewers, cheese, baby potatoes, fancy bread, cherry tomatoes....so that everyone could dip in the fondue!:D

The children loved it too as it was really fun....and you could eat it with or without the sauce and it wasnt necessary to sit down! :D

 Damn day job....I love cooking....anyone like to come to Marbella and open a deli/sandwich shop with me?!.....

its completely unrelated, but I have a recipe for fridge cake for all you chocolate loving people.

it really is unrivalled.
