Final trip 2015

After 3 great visits to ibiza in 2011, 2012 & 2014.... I decided that summer 2015 will be the final trip to the island.

Although I am 28, I really feel getting old for the place... is that normal???

Last year we met some great spotlighters @Jay_99 @helloworld @trippymane and looking forward to have some new friends this summer.

Tentative date is 1 week either the last week in july or the first week of august. Final bookings will be done in 1 month probably staying in marco polo 1 san ant.

Would like to know whose up to what :)

Mate, I am 41yr's old & have been going to Ibiza for the last 14yr's, sometimes, twice a year & am no way ready to give up on the beautiful island, I love it so much, it's like my 2nd home, 28 is not to old for Ibiza , your never too old for Ibiza xxx

A parent, 40 and still love Ibiza. I do smile when I think back to my parents when they were my age. They seemed so much older than I feel and could I have seen them popping off for a weekend away clubbing in Ibiza? hmmm don't think so :-)

Ok guys.... it seems i was wrong!! As per most of the people here its not about age and after thinking....its seems your right :)

Anyway, i noticed that several people mentioned thier dates in posts...in order to make it easy to meet, lets put the dates in a common format. Follow mine if you like it

I've been going to Ibiza since 1988 - I'm 48 now. At the height of my clubbing career I would go two or three times a year. Now I just go
once a year for 4 or 5 days and I never feel out of place because of my age. The great thing about Ibiza is that nobody give a toss how old you are. I
can still throw shapes with the best of them. I will only stop going to Ibiza if it becomes crap and that looks unlikely.

43 and visited Ibiza for the first time in 1981 with my Mum and Gran.

Me and the Mrs don’t have any incline to go out clubbing every night, but choose 3 or 4 big nights out and don’t hold back. We normally just then stay up and get some sun, drink beside the pool or at a bar and talk absolute nonsense before having something decent to eat and going to bed early. The carry on is all part of it and something I immensely enjoy.

I don’t really go clubbing much in the UK anymore as I do feel old, but in Ibiza it is different. I remember speaking to a guy a few years back in the Funky Room at Pacha who was 58. He said he got into it late in life after he and the Mrs split up and him and his mate had been coming every year for the past five years for the opening and closing parties. He was getting a lot of attention from the females and was quite clearly having the time of his life, where else could he do that and not feel out of place?

The other side of the island is the fantastic restaurants, chilled beaches and general laid back vibe. Not many other places tick all those boxes. We have been for a week before early season and late season when the clubs have been shut and still had a brilliant time. As people have mentioned, Ibiza is more than just the clubs, it is unfortunate some people don’t get to see or understand exactly what the place is all about.

Couldn't agree more Drik... i literally travel half the world every summer to enjoy ibiza

38 now, and more in love with ibiza than I've even been. Been the last 4 years on the trot for the closings. Its mine and my wife's 4 day getaway. Always around our wedding anniversary. Yes we have kids now but they are older. My daughter is nearly 16, and she wants to come out with us next year to do a club lol. My son is 11. They stop with thier nan while we're away. We have our family holiday in July, which this year is costa brava, then we go out back end of September by ourself for a few days. The first time I went to ibiza we was 24 then hadn't been up until about 4/5 years ago. I think that was mainly due to the fact we had young children and if we went with them we would get the urge to do a club or 2, but with kids that would of been impossible so I think we are just making up for lost time now on the island as we love it. Grow out of it?????? Nah, never!!

44 this year been going last 15 years and still love it, each year is as good as the last. Started clubbing in London at 15 its in my blood the love for the music and Ibiza's unique vibe. May do the odd festival but don't go clubbing in London anymore. Amazing beaches, restaurants and loving the earlier clubbing choices after 6 hours I've danced none stop and ready for a chilled next day. It's now all about pacing myself and being more selective in choice as recovery time takes much longer. It's all so worth it and I can't wait for what 2015 and the future has to offer.

I'm 37 and feel younger than ever.

I was hooked on Ayia Napa when I was 17, 18, 19 and 20 (I even lived there for a while too).

But then I met my wife and moved to Calgary, Canada and have been here ever since; it's not the most 'lively' place in the world to party, and house music in bars/clubs is rare (think top 40, country, rap... ugh!). I do get back to UK frequently, but never enough time to go onward anywhere else.

I've been craving the party scene and Ibiza has been on my list for too long. I hope to have week or so in Ibiza this September, just mulling whether to go it alone or not..
