Can somebody put my mind at rest. I have been off the club scene for 5 years cause i was stupid and got married. Saturday i went to a club in cheshire and i have never seen so many fights in my life. it never used to be like that. Is there lots of fighting in San An as i am booked for June.

What kind of club were you in?

Yes, theres a few fights in San an, like in any town where there are a lot of drunk people in one place!

Not sure. Best way is to avoid the West End in San An altogether. I've never seen fights anywhere else on the island.

Fighting in clubs and bars is completely ridiculous. Why are you there in the first place??? To hang out with friends, blow off steam from the work week, dance, listen to tunes... come on. I wish people knew how loserish it looks when hotheads cause a brawl in a place where people came to party and have fun. With rare exception (IE, if someone is repeatedly disrespectful or takes the first punch), being unable to win a war with words, settle it and walk away classifies you as a highly ignorant individual.

I agree completely wit Pacha. We only went to laugh and dance and were threatened about 3 times along with other lads who were just there to have fun. What planet are these people on?

planet stella?

I dont get the theory that alcohol breeds violence in some people. Its the complete the opposite with me. I find that with me and my friends the more drunk we get, the more generous we are in buying drinks to complete strangers!!!

In no way do we get in the mood to fight with people.

Unfortunately, over here, the majority of commercial nightclubs are like this. Theres a big male bravado thing going on (thats not to say the women cant be as, if not more vicious), and its mostly younger people who buy into it. No point moaning about it though, it'll always be like that in the UK. Its f***ing embarrasing to be quite honest. The more drinks promos there are, the more likely there is trouble.
