Hi all,

Has anyone been to the Fiesta Del Agua night @ Es Paradis?
I'm thinking about going but not sure if it's really worth it for June 19th.

Thanks,

Chalang

i've been before (a few times) but i'm certain i'll never go again......at the time it was hilarious, the dancefloor turning into a bath at 6am8O 8O . To be honest it was just funny to be in a club that had water flying all over the place ..............be warned though the water is minging, absolutely filthy and its all pretty messy.

if you are going just for a laugh and you're not bothered about getting wet and dirty and feeling uncomfortable...........then its a good laugh.

if you want a night of dancing/clubbing then i can't think of many things worse than getting soaked or even being in a club like this (if you don't actually wanna get wet)

Hi, thanks for your reply.

You are right...I don't know how comfortable I'd be being soaked..especially in filthy water!

Plus the girls I'm with may not appreciate their mascara running :) lol

I went once in 2001....funny for a minute BUT for a night of clubbing...bloody awful!!!8O

As you said Grego...the water is minging.....you basically cant escape getting wet....and then you look like a complete tramp when you leave and have to walk home as the taxi refuses to take you looking like a drowned rat!!!

I remember my friend lost her bag there as it literally "floated away"!!!

Es Paradis used to be one of the nicest clubs didnt it? I remember being in there circa 1991'ish, was it "black & white"? the night they had there? I remember it was like someone had picked up all the hacienda regluars and plonked them into san antonio, right down to the salford scallie who used to "serve up" :)

my missus has seen sasha play there amongst others........................hard to believe when you see the latest line ups:?

I remember a foam party at Eden way way back when it was a larger club and had two sides to the dancefloor - I was merrily dancing away to Brandon Block then all of a sudden foam started to spurt (oooh errrr missus   ) from all over the place on the separate side of the dancefloor I was at. I swear to god the smell of chemicals/washing up liquid had my eyes streaming and my skin itching like hell - and I wasnt even in it!!!!

horrible....

yeah waking up in ditches near dc10 still clutching a bottle of jaegermeister

I remember being at one of his gigs once, just after he had gotten his trademark curly locks cut off and people were kicking off because they didnt think he was who he was, despite the spacey, hooky techno that was eminating from the speakers.!
