Ferry to Ibiza

Hey,

I'm planning on taking the overnight ferry from Barcelona to Ibiza. Any reason I shouldn't? Will I be okay waiting until I get there to buy my tickets or should I do it ahead of time over the internet??

You get the old 'Isla de Botafoc' or a newer one , depends on the day.
We did the journey in June and it was quite nice. Having a 'butaca' (seat) is not
the most comfortable but the cheapest way to get to IBIZA.
I don't have to many confidence in this online booking of transmediterranea.
Better call and reserve by phone. That's what's almost everybody does in Spain.
As far as i know. You better do it in advance. During the week usually
it's not a problem, but could be on weekends and special holidays.
There were some strikes goin' on in June but i believe that setlled now.

my friends and I booked with transmediterranea for Aug 30th.. i agree with seemotion its best to book way in advance since the ferry gets all booked really fast
