Ferry from Ibiza?

When myself and my friends leave Ibiza, we're going to take the ferry to Barcelona. What's better to take, Iscomar or Transmed? What exactly is a "berth" cabin? What is in it? What's the difference between seat accomadations and a "berth" cabin? Really confused and could use some clarification. Thanks

A berth is a cabin with a flop dow bed in it, theyve given up on hammocks. The 'heads' are where you take a dump on a boat. Bough - the pointy end, aft the butt end, and dont let the chief stoker show you the golden rivett

the cabins have a shower and 4 bunk beds and are ideal if you're travelling overnight and want to sleep. however the tras boats have a cinema, gym, bars, restaurants, swimming pool and all night disco which could occupy you if you only booked a seat.........

Overnight ferry from Ibiza to Barcelona

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if there is an overnight ferry from Ibiza to Barcelona?

We're flying home from Barcelona on the 6th Sept and would ideally like to travel to Barcelona overnight on the 3rd or 4th Sept.

Timetable from 2006, posted on this site, said Trasmediterranea departed Ibiza at 8pm and arrived in Barcelona at 7am - this would have been perfect, but I can't find this on any of the ferry websites!

Can anyone help?

Donna.
