ferries between the islands

Coming in Sept..virgin to the islands..have a 2 week stay planned..1 week in Majorca & 1 week in Menorca..want to visit Ibiza for 2-3 days.
What would be easier: Menorca 1 week, Majorca 4 days & Ibiza 3 days??
How reliable / conveinient are the ferries between the islands? How long are the trips & costs?

Try belearia website or transmedditerania, they go regular about twice a day i think and roughly takes 4 hours, not sure about price though.
