- Ferran Adrià's new restaurant: Heart Ibiza -

fourth nile rodgers gig in ibiza (after the 123 fest, ibiza rocks and hard rock hotel) and this one was definitely the less interesting as he didn't bring the whole band, just him and the two backing vocalists (plus the martinez brothers doing percussion on the song they've done together, "i'll be there"), with the music pre-recorded!

about the venue:
- very nice setting although, for some reason, i thought it would be bigger
- it's true that the dinning area inside is too dark, perfect for a romantic date i suppose... the terrace upstairs is great though
- the stage and the area where the non-vip punters stand are quite small, so you can see the artists from up close but if it gets very busy (like last night) you can't hardly move
- very friendly door and bar staff
- 10€ for a beer

overall, the impressions are possitive... i just hope when they bring the likes of george clinton or duran duran they do a full live show!

ok guys so here are news in regards to HEART parties. as from now they'll do two club nights a week.

HEART Factory on Tuesday nights

line ups as well as tickets via the above links. doors open at midnight for club visitors, but the parties kick off at 1am. until 3am the rooftop terrace is open and early arrivals can of course go upstairs (I recommend a visit up there, great spot for a drink and a bit of socialising).

HEART has a tiny bit of dress code for men, no shorts and no flip flops. but with jeans, sneakers and a t-shirt you're fine, no need to bring a tuxedo! also, for the sunday party, acid pauli's acid sundays, fancy dress is encouraged!

Went to Heart tuesday the 4th for the "supper" experience. As someone said it is quite dark but perfect for a romantic supper ( celebrating the 3rd year with missus). Food was excellent, specially the tuna tartar, dry aged meat and the avocado gazpacho.
Overall I'm quite happy with the experience but I don't think I will repeat :D
