I remember the buzz around Samim at the time. I was going on forums and saying yeah, it's all about Samim this season

then I actually heard it

a total abortion of a record
 
I agree, Samim is pretty naff. Can still imagine how it might conjure up images of Ibiza though.

I just included this in my Ibiza playlist on my phone! It's so Ibiza, even though I haven't heard it anywhere on the island (mind you, i didn't start coming till 2015). I know what's Ibiza sounding and what isn't though, still!

this is an fantastic read (strictly for the nerds!!) about the 'loon bird' sound, which you can hear on sueno latino and pacific state. it is totally balearic, unlike 90% of the dog turd I've seen listed on this thread
