My favourites are Salinas and Benirras, but this year I want to seek out some new ones - we've got a car for a full 10 days...
What beaches do people recommend?
What beaches do people recommend?
We did not have a car last year so we only went to beaches that could easily be reached on foot or by bus but I liked Cala Conta and Gracionetta (its so cute !).
I'm sure there are some lovely peaceful ones further afield away from the 'masses'.
This site has loads of info. We want to get to Salinas and Es Cavallet this year.
Cala D'Hort looks a cracker too with a meal at Es Boldado (sp ?) almost compulsory I would say if you are in that area.

Been to Cala D'Hort and Es Boldado, fantastic! I got stug by jelly fish trying to paddle across to Es Vedra on a lilo

Cala Yoga (you have to take a little road on your left in your way to Cala Salada. Getting lost is a possibility but... it's worth it.
-Cala Xarraca: in the north of the island. Not masses and very very quiet. Nice in xtreme.
-S'Estanyol in Formentera. Is it beach or a lake?
Funkster, unluckily there is not a Balearian version of The Sands .

Yep, very well, waiting for the summer. I remember you were in Ibiza in July. When exactly? Me 23-26 july (yes, only a weekend, but Dimitri from Paris deserves the visit) and 10-17 August.

Damn. We arrive just as you leave (We are flying straight to Ibiza after Joey Negro party at OHS) - we will arrive in the early hours of the 26th July....
And then we leave on the 5th August, a few days before you come back!
