Chelsea have spoken up on this now. They say they were just doing routine maintenance plus work on the drainage system (that one they installed in 2003, as you'll remember from a previous discussion

I think we have a good enough squad to maintain our level, iniesta is playing so well this year, he's keeping Xavi out of the team! We're not on top form right now though. Cant wait for the Chelsea game.

and managed only a draw at home!I think it'll be split evenly this year. Chelsea win at home. Barca win at the Nou Camp. And I think everyone is fine with that.
The crucial game for us will be Werder Bremen away. Win that, and we win the group.
