Im embracing this no carbs after 5pm diet, would you say cous cous was a carb
Its just that im thinking of having it with lamb tonight

did a nice oven steamed chicken breast with onions, yellow peppers the other night...
served with some nice Home Fries

Its a refined carb not as bad as white rice, pasta and white bread, according to the GI Diet its classed as "medium" ie - not to be used frequently but once or twice a week... I usually do the first week as 100% no carbs after 5.00pm just to kick start this, after a week or two I then probably am 80% of the time good and 20% of the time treat myself.....
Why not make a really nice salad instead of the cous cous or roasted veggies like peppers, onions, mushrooms, carrots, again even steamed veg would be just as nice and better for you....![]()

Yea i know chick, i be a bit like you too though and have that 20% (2x) a week where i might have a few potatoes with dinner or something![]()
