I listened to that recording from radio 1 and had a good chuckle!
Ray santilli....
Was that Coley? Telling Moyles that someone he'd never heard of hadn't signed his record?

Ha ha indeed it was me. Here is the truth...not quite the way Chris Moyles explained it.
I was looking for an address in Clipstone street yesterday morning. As I turned in off Great Portland Street I looked over and see a large geezer having a smoke with his mate outside Radio 1
"Thats Moyles"....As I pulled in I ripped off the bottom of an invoice and wrote our myspace address on it. As I approached him I'm giving it "Oi Chris".
At this stage he had a look of "oh no who have I upset" written on his moosh...he really looked like he thought I was gonna nut him...
Anyway gave a very brief talk on our music and handed him the slip of paper before shaking his hand and then doing the off....
This Ray Santilli fella (the bloke behind our tunes) has worked with some of the most well known acts in the music industry. He was also the guy that made the film Alien Autopsy starring Ant and Dec.
Moyles going on about us almost being signed wasn't quite what I told him...he spun that one for Radio.......very good tho so hats off n all that.
I have posted full details about our work with Ray and our "almost got signed" on our blog along with the clip from Radio 1 over at our myspace which is below...

It went something like"we just met someone outside who claims to have a record that was almost signed by someone we have never heard of"
They then ripped me a bit saying that they never heard of Ray Santilli then I think the penny dropped when they finally realised what work he had done and who he has worked with in the music biz....
Like Damo says its all good publicity....8)8)8)
I did see him again today but couldn't be bothered going over to him to give it.....

I may hire out the London philharmonic orchestra musical bods next time to give him a big band rendition of who ate all the pies....Gonna be murder hiring the float tho...damn
