its official, I feel old - my eyes have failed me I will now be wearing spectacles come next Monday...... :cry:

oh no!!!!!! I dont even think I could go down the contact lens route to be truthful - cant bear the thought of my eyes being fiddled with to be honest....... nearly freaked when you blew air onto my eyeball for some test FFS!!!

I only went to get my eyes tested cos I was getting headaches for the past month :?
 
I need them to drive and im only 23 - so you have done well when you say your getting old!!

2 of my friends are blind without glasses and they are younger then me.

All that watching Tv as a child you see, your folks said you'd end up with square eyes :lol:

I thought that about the contact lens, but you get use to it.

Besides you can get some gorgeous looking glasses!

i had laser treatment 3 years ago and havent looked back (arf)

I will see what they look like on Monday and see how many "dodgy comments" get made - althought the worst/best so far is from my husband...

I've worn glasses since I was about 18!
Tried contact lenses last year but didn't like them - couldn't get the slippery little buggers out!!

Sophisticated and smart might be pushing it a bit - I fear i will look stern and business like......
