F**k me versus Cream and other questions

Hi there,

Complete Ibiza virgin, finally going at the end of the month!!! :)

I'm looking at the party calendar and struggling to work out which night to pick on the Thursday. I'm torn because F**k me is Guetta, but Axwell is at Cream. I am a bit clueless though and don't know what type of music I can expect other than their own stuff??!?

Can anyone help?

Also the mate I'm with likes Trance along the lines of Delirium and Chicane but NO cheesy trance. Anywhere cater for this?

AND finally, do the clubs get really hot in side? If I'm wearing Jeans will I regret it?
 
An advice CREAM! Forget GUETTA :spank: , unless you like the dance... It is evenings should be called "**** G _ _ _ _ A ".
This guy is a shame it is not a DJ simply a very good commercial.
I have never understood this craze in the tour of him and of these evenings
 
Well I have to differ I am afraid - never missed a visit to Amnesia for Cream in the past 10 years, however this year we did both - first week Cream (excellent night) and second week we did F*** me I'm Famous for the first time on the back of Sharam doing a guest slot. We got there, the atmosphere was electric, it was proper hands in the air, Ibiza at its best, sure they were moments of cheese, but its Guetta, and you cant tell me you never get moments of cheese in Amnesia for Cream FFS!!:lol::lol:

Anyway - turned out to be one of the better clubbing nights in my book - for the sheer atmosphere and the crowd were fantastic - friendly, up for it and in your face in a good way!!! Give it a go..... you might be surprise...

No matter what clothing you where, you will sweat like a fat kind in the pudding queue. :lol::lol::lol::lol:
 
Aha! A differing of opinion. To put it another way if I lsit a few acts could someone let me know what sort of music (with example tunes??) would you expect from their set? I know they could always vary but it just might help me out a little instead of stumbling in blind ;)

if axwell is on at cream then it must be the 28th august gig, the swedish house mafia takeover with ax, angello and ingrosso.

Sorry made me giggle 8)

We all have opinions but i'd say Cream too. From all the times I've visited both clubs, Cream has always had a better atmposphere.

Got to agree there, and you have Eddie Haliwell in the main room too, and Annie Mac and Simian Mobile Disco on the terrace.
We get there on the 27th and to say we're lookin forward to this would be an understatement.

Im arriving on the 27th too and not 100% what to do for the Thurs night... David Guetta at Space last year was BRILLIANT! - played his own stuff and went Electric.. then you have CREAM which is a must!! - Im still deciding!
 
I think I've decided on Cream, of course depending on my state after Morillo on the Wednesday. Where does everyone get their tickets from? In advance? Try and get freebies? Pre Parties?

Also does anyone know of a good trance pre bar or club on the east side of the island?

I always get my tickets over there from shops bars etc. You do get some good deals- reduced entry wristbands for smaller nights but NEVER for Cream- you will pay around the 50 Euro marker wherever you buy them from.

I'm gonna get some tickets for big nights like Cocoon off here next year so I'll have more Euros to spend when I get there!

To tell you the truth, i would definitely go to F**K me Am Famous or another option would be Be @ Space with Danny T.

But a word of advice Do Not Go to Cream ! it is over rated .. i was in Ibiza in July and a lot of ppl told me to go to F**K me or Danny T. but i did not believe them .. and i went to cream Amnesia .. worst night ever went to in Ibiza .. bearing in mind i booked a VIP Table that night and still it was a real bad night .. over crowded .. full of kids .. thats in the VIP ! i left the VIP and went to have a look downstairs .. and i saw nothing but more kids .. and a lot of kids passed out in the corners .. it was not fun at all .. neither was the Music, i like Trance but if PVD is playing that night you gotta see him .. in my case it was Bart Claessen which sucked / above & beyond they were ok not wow / ferry corsten which was the best that night / eddie halliwell (which to tell you the truth he was my favorite DJ before i saw him spin that night, i actually went to cream that night to see him, and i was very disappointed - he was the worst DJ that night) - So if you want a good Trance night with better (much better crowd) go to Armada @ Amnesia Tuesday night ! but as for Thursday either Danny or David ...

Nope i am 28 years old ;)

So thats why i did not like the the crowd in Cream nor in Carl Cox night (although loved the Music in Carl Cox night but definitely not the crowd)

i have to say that a few times in the last month, i've been in the middle of a crowd of kids and it was great.

all having the same fun i did 10 years ago when i started clubbing and the best part, they haven't yet obtained all the annoying habits clubbers get when they've been at it for a while. i.e. the type of attitude that makes people think " i don't like it, it's full of kids":idea:
 
Well thats your point of view dude .. i personally do not like to hang out and party with 16 17 18 19 year old kids .. i like to club with class .. and i like to club with people my age who know how to club the proper way 8)

if you like to party with kids good for you :)
