Ever experienced the paranormal?

Saying that I did spot a UFO about 2 years ago... a pulsating, deep red glowing object that just glided through the air effortlessly...

F'hell!!- that reminds me!

(here he goes again  )

A couple of years ago (when we lived at our old house) we we're up early to drive to the airport. It was around 4:00am and i'd just taken a suitcase outside ready to load into car and was sat on back step waiting for Ang when i looked up and saw a huge silver ball floating over the houses in front of me 8O

It wasn't high because it only just skimmed the rooflines, but the weird thing was it was moving fast in a bang straight line, which made me think it wasn't a balloon.

I immediately ran upstairs to grab the camcorder but was too late - it had gone.

Absolutely bizarre!

That's it now, the rest of my life is quite normal

I experience it so regularly and frequently I refer to it as the 'normal'.

Seriously, I imagine most of these things to have a perfectly reasonable explanation. Having said, any explanation that hasn't been disproved could well be perfectly reasonable. Mine is a very broadminded cyncism.

Lots of people I know have confused 'night terrors' and 'sleep paralysis' with the undead though. The first time I ever disturbed my sleep patterns with a 'thrill' (copyright DD) I felt something holding me down in bed the next night, tried to scream and nothing came out etc All the hallmarks of a 'visitation' but in reality perfectly explainable by rational science.

I neither believe or disbelieve - all things are possible.

If so, discuss .........(cos i once did 8O )

I'm continually amazed how much stigma is attached to this sort of thing.
Death is merely a transition/doorway type thing so these experiences could be a normal part of our day to day existence if only we'd let them.
(I'm a Wiccan by the way hense the ambivalence towards the subject)

What happened to you then Drew?

Excuse my ignorance, what's a Wiccan?

I don't believe or not believe but i really hope there is nothing. If i ever experienced anything like that i would be a nervous wreck for the rest of my life.

On the contrary, i hope we can live on in some other form.

Life's too short if not :(

I used to get night terrors literally every night (they're worse when I'm stressed 8O ). They were so freaky, I'd panic and wouldn't know where I was, try to run/escape and bang into my bedroom wall, or serval occasions trying to climb out my bedroom window, only waking up because I've knocked my lamp/picture frames onto myself!

Very weird 8O
