Come on, it can't just be me ....

Don't exepect anything and you won't be disappointed ;)

I haven't experienced nothing and actually don't belive in it. I respect people who belive in or say has any experience on it but ...

Yep Drew ...

I think I mentioned it on here one time .... I actually "sensed" this guy's Mum .. she was stood at his shoulder, behind the chair he was sitting on ... and I looked at him and said ... "It's your Mum, she's worried about you. She wants you to know that she wont leave you!"

Bizarrely he died 6 months later from Motor Neurone disease. His Mum had died about 4 months prior to the above happening .. I believe she was waiting for him to join her.

At the funeral ... we sat at the back, and around the heads of all the close family and friends was a whirling mist ... it wasnt scary .. it was comforting.

I haven't.

But I believe that dogs have senses us humans do not have. Read the book Dogs That Know When Their Owners Are Coming Home : And
Other Unexplained Powers of Animals by RUPERT SHELDRAKE.

Sorry  ok serious reply time!

I haven't experienced anything, although I would like to. I've been to mediums, one is allegedly one of the best in England, but he was totally inaccurate, nothing he said had any real reference to me at all  which kinda made me a little bit less believing in the whole paranormal/afterlife stuff :?:

I guess no one will ever really know

When my Dad died .. we were all stood round his hospital bed ... it was dark .. around 6 am ... I stood to the left of him ... I looked at each and every one beside the bed .. then at my Mum, who had her head on my Dad's chest and was crying ... I thought: "She can't stand much more of this .. please go" .. and he died .. right then ..

My sister phoned me later that day and asked if I had seen the grey mist surrounding us all just before he died ...

I am the world's biggest non-believer of this type of thing, but i had an experience about 12 years ago that i'll never forget ........

My mum's best friend died of cancer in her early thirties and i used to spend a lot of time at their house cos i was good friends with her son.

Anyhow, about a year after she died it was a hot summer's day and i was sat in my office with the door open. Everyone else was out.

All of a sudden it turned really cold (don't laugh  ) and i heard a voice wispering my name from just behind the open door 8O I couldn't have been someone outside because there was an empty room between my office door and outside.

My heart started pounding cos i knew i was alone and the voice kept wispering my name over and over and i instantly recognised it as my mum's dead friend :?

I walked over to the door and as i approached it, the voice said "look after your mum!" and i felt something rush through my body 8O

I immediately rushed outside to find absolutely no-one in sight. Our business premises cover 4-acres and is not near a main road.

This really did happen and was before any recreational drug use ;)

I believe you ...

The coldness thing is strange ... We were all sat on the sofa the other day watching something or other on tv and Hannah and I looked at one another and said at the same time .. "The room's gone icy!" No one else thought it had, but for us, the room had turned icy cold, as though the heating had not been on for days and we'd just walked into a cold, damp house .. 8O

I also work at a very old school .. and am on my own their at nights .. This one time I'd felt a really cold draught coming down the corridor and ending in one of the classrooms ... later that night, Hollie came up to school to see me and we were in the old hall when we heard what we thought was Herbert, the caretaker, shouting for help .... we went to investigate and no one was there ...

Wooooo !

I'd love to believe totally in the existence of other dimensions and ghosts .. but I'm still sceptical!

I don't believe any of that crap on TV or mediums etc, but what happened to me was 1,000,000% true.

I rang my mum straight away and she know's i would never wind her up about anything like that.

The only other thing that's ever happened to me was the other week when i was drying my hair with the hairdryer and i felt someone tugging at it which strongly from behind. I thought it was Ang messing around, but i turned around and no-one was there 8O

I stopped and though i must have got the cord fastened on something but it was clearly free :?

We've all experienced things and shrugged them off as an active imagination but not this - it was weird!

Everyone spoke of ghosts in the 200 year old building we live (used to be a nut-house). Apparently there's a carving in a beam somewhere on our floor that says "KILL ALL THE CHILDREN!"

If so, discuss .........(cos i once did 8O )

I'm continually amazed how much stigma is attached to this sort of thing.
Death is merely a transition/doorway type thing so these experiences could be a normal part of our day to day existence if only we'd let them.
(I'm a Wiccan by the way hense the ambivalence towards the subject)

What happened to you then Drew?

Sorry Drew!

I haven't mate, but I know of a lot of people who have (or think they have). I really don't believe in this stuff, but I do believe in the power of the mind, maybe even telepathy's existence, and I certainly believe the brain can produce some very odd effects.

I like reading about it though.

Agreed, the mind can play tricks on you sometimes.

However, the experiences i spoke of we're both very physical and completely real.

I never forget I once went to a medium... deliberately made sure she did all the question asking & kept everything I said short & blunt... & I was amazed at the things she accruately described & the detail too....

However, after seeing Derren Brown countless times & the ease this man seems to have in making the seemingly impossible, well... possible does me think twice...

Saying that I did spot a UFO about 2 years ago... a pulsating, deep red glowing object that just glided through the air effortlessly...
