Ever been guestlisted at Space and been told you weren't?

I had a problem last year but it was R1 weekend so they denied we were on the guestlist. Really made me angey as we queued for over an hour so I told them to stick it.
 
I think it depends who puts you down for Space.

If you are on Fritz's list or someone who works high up at the club, you'll never have a problem.
If it's just as a guest of a dj, i'm sure the doorstaff often "fail to spot" your name, as they know they can get away with it.
There are probably often times when your name really isn't down, as whoever was putting you down has forgotten to do so !
 
One of my old clubbing chums was on Danny T's list a few years ago after a chance meeting he got to the door and was told him and his girlfriend weren't on... They then saw Mt Tenaglia who kindly pointed their names out on the list to the doorstaff who then had no choice but to let them in.

Quality story!

From the responses its clearly a mixed bag! Though an interesting point about whose g/list you are on making a difference a few posts back.
