Ever been guestlisted at Space and been told you weren't?

It happened to me in June, though I think our mistake was to turn up at WLS at 8am following on an all nighter and breakfast at Zanzibar.

But while we were in Zanzibar we met a lovely couple who were also guestlisted, or so they thought, as exactly the same thing happened to them - and they didn't come in with us.

I was wondering whether this is a common thing, or is it just me! :?

Must have been the Burberry cap they took a dislike too ;)
 
Yeah...that's exactly what I thought.

We were also guest listed at Pacha by the same person (I was with them when they made the call to sort both out) and we had no problems at all there which made me suspicious about Space.

So, is there a tip to getting in....saving 40 euros or whatever is not to be scoffed at.
 
Space security/door staff are a bunch or arses if they dont like the look of you they'll be horrible to you its just down to luck from what i've seen.
 
hmmm...fair to say its inconclusive then...maybe they just didn't like the look of us, which on the back of an all nighter I can't say I'm that surprised!
 
I don't know if this is the same for all the clubs, but at Space (Sundays at Space) we went along and even though our names were on the guestlist, we were told to go back and bring some form of ID with us to prove it was us!

Quite possibly but I've certainly never encountered this before in the UK.
 
A friend of mine was "found" on the guestlist at Space last month but was asked to show his passport, which fortunately he had.

When I went in June we were on the Pacha guestlist and were not asked for ID.

I have never had to take ID for clubs in Ibiza and I my guestlists are normally for Pacha, Amnesia, Eden, El Divino - and Space. Space is the only club I have gone to where the guestlists (for a Sunday) have not been sorted on arrival. For the usual Tonic Friday morning shennanigans - no problem. I think its just down to the door staff on the night as said previously..... a pain in the arse when it happens, but swings and roundabouts - whatever I have saved cash with over the two weeks in guestlists more than makes up for having to pay for entry to Space...
 
I've always been ok (touch wood), but there's usually one of our gang that they deny is on the list @ space :roll: Everywhere else has always been ok
