Ever been clubbing on your own??

Sad but I'm off to Ibiza next week again but the wife says she ain't doing any clubs this year but I can go on my own if I want. Would I be a total saddo
 
i did my first ibiza on my own 9 years ago, went to a different club every night and had loads of fun ))
you'll be alright :)

No. But your wife may be saying that whilst planning to make you pay if you do :spank:. Seriously tho', clubbing solo is great fun. No other half to have to worry about, no group of friends to have to look after or take home the one who's inevitably overdone it by 4am just when it's all kicking off. Just don't come home at 10am for afters at yours with the 6 new mates you met last night expecting the other half to be happy to sort the drinks while you collapse in a happy heap on the bed ...
 
Some djs need to be seen as couples!!

Some others you can dance alone to, just the nature and the atmosphere of the club and night.
 
Personally I don't think twice to go out and see richie hawtin or a techno dj (most of them) alone....

But some other nights seem to have something more... Not sure ...but that is my take on things. Like when I went to defected ...at boom the night seemed way more social and intimate ... I would say it is always better to have a buddy.
Even though half the time I am out by myself... Which honestly kind of scks!
 
Was on a stag do in central London 2 weekends ago. We'd been drinking all day, but the lads put in a really weak performance and most of them went back to the hotel around 1am. I wasn't prepared to waste a good night in London so went to Fabric on my own and stayed til 6am. Met some cool people in there and had a top night. Go into anything with the right attitude and you can make it a success.
 
Hi - if you go home without going out you will kick yourself! I met my husband in Ibiza in 2001 and we've going back ever since, even with our son. NOW what happens is we each take it in turns to go out as we take him with us! There are some places I prefer to go on my own because I know them so well.... eg. Space and Amnesia, and we've found this a great way of doing it. I agree with above posts in that I like to be on my own - you can choose the room, wander off when you like... I tend to stand near a bouncer, near a bar ... on the dance floor. The funniest is when the night you're at is being streamed on Ibiza global radio or Sonica, and my other half has been listening whilst babysitting! I do get a taxi there and back though just for safety... so take enough cash for that! OR how about going to one of the afternoon parties instead........ she could have a nice quiet sunbathe or a few cavas on the beach whilst you dance away! Enjoy - but don't go home regretting not going - you only live once!
 
well jack, this is an ibiza related thread... and in all context therefore .. I have expressed myself pertaining to the subject at hand. Going out clubbing - in ibiza.

rightfully when i am back at home, things are different.

My sincerest apologies. I'll try to keep my posts more relevant.

I was in Ibiza a few months ago, solo. Met some cool people there and had some top nights. Go into anything with the right attitude and you can make it a success.

Funny that, the sentiment is exactly the same wherever you go, and whether you're discussing life in 'clubbing open chat' or 'Ibiza open chat'. Have a day off.
 
I went to space last year for enter on my own while the mrs and kids slept at the apartment, it was magical seeing Sven in Space 8)
I went home around 7am and never slept, just got dressed and took the kids to the pool the buzz kept me going all day and night. No drugs either :lol:
I was going to do the same this year but as my folks invited themselves my mrs wants to experience zoo project so I shall have a partner in crime this time. Almost makes me sad I will have to be stuck to her for the day and night as I loved walking around space with all the freedom of no one moaning at me about where I am going.

If you want a few mates for the night you can usually pick them up in a club within about 5 minutes ! Though will admit Pacha is one club I'd rather go to with a girl simply because they tend to like it so much - whereas in truth, stripped of it being a setting to go with a partner, I don't much go for it as a 'regular' party club. Much rather go to Space, Amnesia, Privilege for that. Maybe it's the setting in Ibiza Town .. it's more amorously decadent than wild.
