Zinema next to KFC/Pizza hut is always crowded for big games and has lots of TV's outside.

in ibiza town fans of football and passive smoking can satisfy both lusts in the milan on the via punica. big screen telly, giant fruit machines, and a completely non cosmopolitan crowd will be there as usual for any big game.

(shame they never show any super league games!)
 
This is the first Euro Championship or World Cup I've thought England have no chance. Usually I think it's going to be our year but not this time.
Could be an omen?? NO STOP NOW!!!
 
its really funny when the whole of england think that they are going to win every single tournament and then get papped out by some supposedely inferior team, at least its good for a laugh.
i just hope england get put out before i get there, not for any other reason than to avoid the england football brigade and endless singing of rule britannia.

my tip for euro 2004 is Italy, outside bet is on Czech Republic.

scotland fans know that the national team is $hite, expect to get beat but go along for the party anyway.
england fans think their national team is better than it is, write off every other team they play against, dont realise that every one in europe thinks england are average, then go on the rampage when u get beat. france probably couldnt believe their luck that they drew england in the group stages.
if my comments are wide of the mark please tell me, but u should have a look at ureself the way others see u, not a pretty picture in the england teams case.

Didn't I just say this?? And no your comments aren't wide of the mark. A lot of England fans, not all, think we're better than what we are. And to agree with you for a 3rd time, yes Scotland are $hite.
 
the general feeling in england is that ure comin back with the trophy, just as it was in japan before seaman decided to take a wander off his goal line, much to the amusement of everyone, and just as it was in france 98 when batty thought he was a penalty taker and missed, again to everyones amusement. oh and in italia 90 when chris waddle forgot it was football be was playin and not rugby, its a shame no one told him that before he put it 20 feet over the bar.

do u ever wonder why no one in the world likes the england team and hates it when ever they come to a tournament, its not for nothing.

england will be lucky to qualify from their group.
 
I agree with you for what it's worth. There is a definate arrogance to England where we think we have a chance. It happens every tournament when the only times we have got ourselves in with a real chance was, funnily enough 2 of the times you mention, Italy and Japan. And also Euro 96.
What I would say is despite the disappointment we feel when we've been built up to believe we are good, only to get knocked out, I'd still prefer to have got that far than to have not qualified or gone out in the first round. You must agree with that.

And going back to an earlier point you made, the 3 times I've felt we've had a chance of winning, we've got knocked out by the eventual winners, hardly inferior nations.
 
the rerason why engalnd think we can win all tournaments as u put it is coz the english are pround of the team and our country most other countrys hate us because england travel innumbers bid numbers and we stand together through thick and thin we are loyal to our country

We are the most detest rce in the world and its great

English and proud
