Off to Ibiza on Weds for a week. Just had a quick look at the Es Vive website where I'm staying and discovered it has a new beauty salon and hairdressers - COOL!!!!
 
Am staying there soon. Aparently the bar and most rooms have been refurbished for this year too.
 
I found out off barbie that a sea view room isn't worth paying for at es vive as the sea is far away and you can't see much of it.
so go for a standard room instead.
 
Yeah the girl (Lucy) who does the treatments is really nice and the hairdresser is Craig the Aussie who worked at the Base bar last year.

Some of the rooms are not really that great but mostly you will be by the pool/bar for socialising anyway.

The new bar is pretty stylish too.
 
I'm off very early Weds morning and can't friggin wait!!! we're staying at Es vive too.

I have a few questions for about the place though.

Do the rooms have air conditioning?
Do they have a dry cleaning service?
I've heard the food is good is that true?
What are drinks prices like at the bar? do people hang out there in the evening or is it just for getting drinks while you'r by the pool
I've heard you can 'sort things' out quite easily is this true?

Appreciate the help

Had some mates who stayed there about 3 weeks ago and whilst they said it was v nice, clean etc apparantly their room was incredibly small.

Prases like " there wasn't enough room to swing a cat" cropped up several times.

unfortunately I'm leaving tommorow night so I can't wait two days.

What are drinks prices like at the bar? Pricy around the same as the better bars in town.
Do people hang out there in the evening or is it just for getting drinks while you'r by the pool. Yes at any time people are by the pool/bar. You see people going out and when getting back in. There are many DJ's there to We had drinks with Brandon block and Guy Ornadale.

I've heard you can 'sort things' out quite easily is this true? Not from the hotel!!! but you wont have any troubles. Speak to anyone who has been for a few days and they will clue you in.

Hi Happyman - there from 2 July for one week. Both in more mature lol!

I'm petite and slim with long red hair and me fella has a shaven head - surely can't miss us lol!
