Yeah I remember it being open air, it really did give it a pretty relaxed vibe......although I can remember beeing in there in 89 when it rained...its was kinda cool....although also pretty ironic as it was a Fiesta Del Aqua night!!!

Do you remember that man who was working there? He had this football shirt on him. He had his whistle too (and he really used that) and he was collecting all the empty glasses...like running Before the water party started he took all the pillows and threw them to the roof of the bar. Then he cleaned bottom of that pool/dancefloor...running all the time.
It was like a show, everybody watched and clapped their hands.

Yeah, I remember him a good character. I also remember the fella who used to hand out the flyers for Es Paradis...he was the oldest moodiest PR I ever saw!

yes of course i remember him

on the HP of es paradis are old pictures from the 70ies,...they had fiestas del agua by day!...must be real fun,...open air of course...

You are right Nowadays you go to a club with good air conditioning and dance all night, after that you go out sweaty and get cold. "Ibiza-flu".

oh well, they made many, many mistakes in general,...but theres hope!...
and our generation just have to close the eyes and see ibiza, how it was 15 years ago

Hmmmm!!! After reading you guys' posts i don't know if I should go now! Never been, but i heard it is like the most "beautiful club in the world" and all that..... so should I not even waste my time and money to go?? I suppose there are many other good nights i could be missing out on.

ive never been but looking at some of the photos those columns seem to close the dance floor in, dont you feel a bit enclosed when your in there??

yes mitsu but the circle within the columns is the bit that fills up with water, the bit under the canopy is lower than the rest of the club floor:

This doesn't make it worth going tho! IMO!
