Es Paradis

I have fond memories of Es Paradis in San Antonio........it was the first Ibizan club I ever went to way back in '89 and as such changed my life........I have had many a good night there in the past (especially Black & White)......I love the white interior the way it is so light and the feeling of space it gives you.....I also love the layout of the club with the sunken dancefloor and the mezzanine levels......and laying on the cushions round the dancefloor....I even like the look of it from the outside although it was a shame (like all the clubs) that the roof had to come off I think they did a good job with the pyramid structure they put over it.............however I am going back to ibiza in the summer and for all the places I want to go to I don't seem to have a good reason for going back to Es Paradis.

This seems to me to be a shame and I wish there was a night on at Es Paradis which would drag me away from Pacha, Space, Amnesia and El Divino but there isn't....

My question is am I wrong should I have a night at Es Paradis for old times sake? And if so, what night should it be?

not until it offers something better.

the best night I've had there recently was slinky in 2002 and even that just didn't work.

:(

went to a water party when i was last there

didnt rate it at all, been there once so im happy enough to say ive experienced it but thats it for me

I thought the idea of the 'paella' parties last year was about the worst thing ive ever heard. yuk. never been inside.

I think they served as much paella as you can eat, and then you could go off dancing.

My idea of hell 8O 8O 8O

eat as much as you can then go dancing, mm brilliant idea i bet pacha were kicking themselves that they didnt think of it first!!!

but don't pacha have a restaurant in situ? and privelege and el divino?

is that not the same?

At first I actually did think it was like the water party but you just got covered in Paella, like some kind of food fetish night

If you want to go there for old times sake - don´t go :!:

Es Paradis is like it was but atmosphere isn´t. You will be disappointed.

If you still want to go there I can recommend water parties. At least there will be people and good music IMO. (Young people and cheese might somebody say...)

check out sundays

the old skool deja vu night is a good one with all the old classic tunes.
and dj slipmatt as resdidant dj.. it also fairly cheap tickets as well..

Like I said it still is a wonderful place :!: And if you really don´t care of dj or music it is a good choice. But you must admit there isn´t that same vibe there once was :( My first time was back 1988 and Es Paradis Terrenal was full of happy people from all over the world. All the colours and ages.

I still go there once or twice every year. And I am still smiling :D

so you know it as long as me ;) ...I know that the vibe has gone,...and do you remember it open air!! that was THE VIBE!!!
