The final autopsy report is apparently out in a few weeks so that may reveal more. So far it's said that MDMA and Cocaine were contributory to the cause of death.

I think it's probably a bit like a 'death by misadventure' verdict in the UK. A lot of cases will be categorised as this as it isn't always possible to identify if there is intent or not when drugs are involved.
