Eric Prydz Presents Holosphere 2.0 @ UNVRS 2025 - Reviews & Reports

How was it? Interesting that the official UNVRS IG account has not rushed out any clips. I assume to make sure a sea of 5,000 phones aren’t in shot.

Couple on HighScream instagram

And one on Dannykayibiza stories.
Gotta admit it looks amazing

Seen some videos on your favourite social media channels- visuals look cracking.

Amazing advert for Apple and Samsung as well, hope they’re paying royalties for having so many of their phones in these videos….

A short report.

Arrival: I arrived at around 1.30am. There were several police cars on the bridge in front of the tunnel (coming from San An). It seemed to me that there was no general control, but that the police were specifically following individual cars.

In the club: it was a little less busy than at the opening, you could stand on the main floor relatively relaxed. I wasn't blown away by Rivo's set. Between 2:50 - 3:00 there was a changeover break during which nothing happened. Music was played very quietly, which I thought could have been handled better. At some point there were more and more whistles. The Prydz show was spectacular, sometimes there were real 3D effects.

Fun fact: I accidentally ended up in the VIP area while searching for ‘Wild Comet’. I followed people through a door with a security guard standing in front of it. He looked at my wrist and waved me through. It wasn't until I was on the balcony that I realised I was probably in the wrong place. :) I still had my VIP wristband from Pacha on, just as red as the ones from UNVRS.
I think it was the area you can enter for 500€. I didn't think it was spectacular though. There was enough space, but the balcony is at the very back at the height of the grand staircase and only a few metres from the roof. At the top of the balcony you have a good view, but a maximum of three people can stand there. I would never want to pay the money.

Perfect, thanks for the review! :) What I thought confirmed... Guess I will go for the normal tickets

Seen some videos on the tiktok and it looked pretty epic, didn't look like much change to layout apart from the sphere on the stage

Some solid lazering

Seeing videos from the further back VIP balconies is funny though, might as well be sat further down the road

Okay, so…

I arrived just after 00:30 in a cab (kudos to the driver who was playing a Prydz playlist - legend). I was dropped off just inside after the roundabout again, which meant a little walk up the path to the entrance. I would really like to think that this isn’t the case all summer or else surely the residents are going to get pissed? I sure would!

Went in the regular entrance (I was guided through the dome for the opening) so it was nice to just walk straight into the main room. Lots of people at the top of the stairs filming had me thinking it was rammed again but I weaved through those and realised that the stairs were half empty and I could actually see going down them! Hurrah! Straight down those to the bar on the right (always seems quieter that the left on both nights now) and then I thought I’d kick my night off in Wild Comet.

Though I did say that, for the opening, this room was going off - I now retract that statement. The guy playing last night was having an absolute blast, playing some really funky fun tracks and everyone was smiling ear to ear. Each drop had everyone jumping around like loons and it was genuinely brilliant to watch. I was worried that getting there when I did would have me waiting around for ages but the time actually flew by until I pulled my sweaty self out of there just after 2am.

Went for a little wander to see if the bunker was open. It was, but it was absolutely dead so instead of going in, I decided to go on a little explore of the underground corridors there to see where the maze led. Realised that you can get directly back up to the garden on the right side of the main room (the one that leads back into the burger place too) from there so, actually, the whole place is really well and easily connected and you can quickly get from one side of the dance floor to the other without going through the dance floor. If anyone wants a shit sketch of a layout I will haha 😝

2:30, time to get my spot. I decide that the sea of phones was inevitable and I want to see over them, so I go about 1/3 way up the stairs dead center. There’s plenty of room and people had even left a little walkway for those who actually wanted to use the stairs for their intended purpose - aren’t clubbers considerate?! The lighting has all been completely changed from the opening, but the room itself looked very much the same. I’m really looking forward to seeing the transformation for elrow (online this time, I need a break already)

I looked around and realised that hardly anyone seemed to be dancing at this point. Just standing, waiting in anticipation. Was worried this was going to be the vibe for the whole set. Luckily I was wrong, though that dead zone for set up time killed the mood further. Completely understand that it has to be done to set up the Sphere, but surely they could put that backing track on louder? Hype people up with a song or 2 they know Prydz isn’t going to play? Not sure why they can’t.

Anywho - go time. A couple of minutes past 3 and all the lights go out and all the phones go up. I’m being stubborn at this point and refuse to join them. I can watch all the clips online today if I want, I don’t need my shakey-hand videos adding to them. And so this meant that, for now, I was one of the only ones dancing through the 10 minute warming up of the crowd. The visuals were amazing and there was full use of the dome, the screen behind and screens on the left and right side that come about a 1/3-1/2 way up the dance floor.

Now, I don’t know if I had hyped myself up so much about it, or I have altered memories of Holosphere at Tomorrowland, and CELL at Hï, but I was slightly underwhelmed with the first half of the show. Oooft. I knowwwww. It’s just that I felt there were really big stints where the Sphere wasn’t ‘used’ and I thought that was the whole point! What I should have done was go down into the crowd and see how the visuals were down the front, but that was a lot of people to get through so that didn’t happen. Next time though! Anyways, the changeover point for me was literally half way through the set when the famous eye came onto the sphere to an eruption of the crowd. That, paired with a gazillion lazers (I counted) meant that the whole stage area and room looked incredible and it seemed to just get a bit more lively after that.

I was hoping on Opus to close and when I heard it getting teased in I was super happy. Alllll the phones went up (including mine this time) and it was incredible to watch and hear that first drop. What was even better though, is that after that, allllll the phones went away and the 2nd drop of the song had the room absolutely bouncing. I looked around and smiled because everyone was clearly having a bloody good time. That’s the thing with social media, the same clip gets shared because it’s that one peak of that one song that everyone want to record and put online. Between that time, everyone is really enjoying themselves.

A special shout out to the guy who had a bubble machine hidden on his waistband. First bumped into him in Wild Comet and then he was at the back of the main room dance floor for Prydz - people trying to figure out where those bubbles were coming from was quite funny to see.

I think that’s all I have to say about it 🤣🤣

Oh forgot one thing. There is a higher balcony (I believe it’s called ‘The Cloud’) that is above what I thought was the VIP standing on the right.

Last night, there were tables on that right side bit and then people standing on the higher-up section (and on the left side still)

This point does often get missed! Though there are some exception for Keinemusik where people seem to record the slow parts when everyone is falling asleep.

Amazing review though @TiffyBarrett

Thanks! Waiting for the map!

Purple - the highest you can get
Blue - the entrance where you walk in
Black - ground floor (main room)
Orange - bunker level (makes sense)

Definitely not to scale OBVS.

Obviously haven't shown the vip all the way down to the front, technically a separate layer all together.
+ no VIP gardens that I couldn't have seen (yet)
