England V Sweden

So I land in Ibiza at 1430 local this Saturday and I will be hitting Ushuaia

However the England V Sweden game is on at 1600 local so I am going to want to see that before hand

Question is where is a decent place to see this? I am thinking for convenience making my way to Bossa and watching it there then popping into Ushuaia afterwards but I am not very familiar with Bossa I must admit

Any suggestions?!?!

We have teed us up for a trip to the sports bar at grand palladium on Saturday before flight home. All inclusive,Result. Really looking forward to the game.

Theres a sports bar near Sankeys that while isnt the most glam or hip, it is reasonably priced and has several TV's and I liked the 'down to earth' kind of vibe

Go to an old mans little bar in ibiza new town and watch it there.. done this for euro 96 when no bars in san an opened because England,Germany and Spain were in the same group..

THIS

It's actually called 'The Sports Cafe', but this is a really nice little bar, reasonably priced food and drink and a good atmosphere. Would 100% recommend - it's the place we always use.

I'm staying in San Antonio, where is good to watch it there? Preferably avoiding nobheads/England fans abroad i.e. Linekars

not long got back from Ibiza.

for england games. we went to the orange corner 45 minutes before kick-off. They will show the game with english commentary.

the best place by far is the couches on bay bar because of the food and service but it will be all reserved out and they got two dodgy tellies.

if you want to avoid the crush i would pop over to Ibiza port and park yourself in a restaurant.

I watched Andy Murray win Wimbledon in Tantra (basically across the road from Ushuaia) and it was packed, great atmosphere, loads of TVs

hah well i will be making a mention of Tantra in my trip report and for all the wrong reasons .

I used to freuqent the bar at night in years past. This year I went to watch a group game in Tantra during the day-time as missus wanted to go to Bora. I wondered why Tantra was empty as it has loads of seating and big sunshine friendly LCD screen.

I got through about four beers sitting there on my own before i realised that Tantra during the daytime is being run as a high pressure boiler room for selling club tickets to young brits and other PR activities which have since been outlawed in San An, Ibiza Town and which we would class as sharp practise in the UK. They managed to pull in a group of non-nightclubbing kids off the street and we let the PRs try to pressure them for about 30 mins inside Tantra before my missus stepped in. After we saved the group of kids (who were terrified by these guys) we left after the PRs asked us to leave.

The two male spanish PRs who work the street outside Tantra are a disgrace.

safe to say the sports bar at the Hard Rock and XOXO opposite Tantra is more friendlier and managed more professionally run.

If you want my advise, find a nice local bar. Spanish commentary for the win - dispense with all that shite that pundits like Owen, Townsend and Lawrenson sprout. Cheap beers, free tapa, perfect.
That's what I was thinking a nice quiet place but I guess that's ambitious in San An

This place sounds ideal to me hopefully it isn't too rammed but a decent enough atmosphere!

Can it just be Saturday now.

This is Bossa in a nutshell these days unfortunately you can barely walk, sunbathe or breath without being harrased by someone selling tickets, drugs or both. SanAn has had stick before for its 'crackdowns' but in fairness what they've done has been effective.
