It is SCARY, but the courtroom drama part of it balances it well. I think its a killer movie. Some of the freaky parts are pretty etched in my brain though 8O 8O Mike and I went with another couple and I INSISTED on not being on the outside seats lol. I think I might have broken some fingers in his hand. ;) Dreading the next time I have to be alone at 3AM... if you see the movie you'll know why.

Yeah I want to see the Aristocrats...... who stars in it? I love that crude, despicable humor lolololol. Glad it was good sweets!!

OOh that sounds awesome!!

I am trying to look up the real exorcism I saw on 20/20 when I was about 12 years old. Its scarring... I still remember visions from it clear as a bell. It is my mission to find it this weekend. So far I found that it was performed in 1991 by James LaBar of the New York Archdiocese. If I find it I am going to post it and everyone's lives will be changed forever lol. 8O

A friend of mine said he heard a little of the real Emily Rose exorcism tape... he is working on finding me the link. He said she growls and snarls in German and lets out blood curdling screams... I might have to pass lol. This crap scares the bejesus out of me 8O

It sure is. I have not resarched it enough to conclude how much of the movie was romanticized though. I do know that she was very disturbed and did die at 19, and I believe her state was the first to be officially recognized by the Catholic Church as a genuine posession 8O Lots of research to do this weekend lol.

ooooooooohhhhhhhh

Watched the remake of Texas Chainsaw Massacre yesterday (went through 4 films actually!).

Im going to research on that one. Im sure in the original there was a grandpa person who was old and green but still alive 8O They cut that out of the remake. Wonder how much of the story is actually true?

Actually? Is that really based on a true story also? Or have I been had off again

Here's something I found that disputes the claim that TCM is really based on a true story: http://www.snopes.com/movies/films/chainsaw.asp

In the original TCM (which I haven't seen in a while), the muppets kept their grandma and grandpa in an upstairs room; I think Grandpa was alive while Grandma was decomposing and covered in cobwebs. They told their last victim that the blood kept them alive and cut her finger so Grandpa could have a drink. They even brought them downstairs (still in their rocking chairs) to join their young guest for dinner! 8O That was probably the most disturbing part of the film for me.

Crazy stuff like that goes on in the NY area all the time. The NY Daily News and the Post remind me of of a snuff photo site at times, so I stick to www.pinkisthenewblog.com.

Oh dear, I damn near had a heart attack last night after the RECORD BREAKING thunder and lightning we had 8O 8O 8O

SO not typical of my region. But lets just say there is a moment in Emily Rose where there is excessive and violent thunder and lightning that is MOST disturbing... could not get it out of my head last night
