Emergency Girly Thread

This thread has put me into a slight panic about having not even thought about what I'm going to wear at my wedding :? 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O

Lou, I've been to lots of posh weddings in the last three years, and as I said before the dress-code is long and all that, but I usually wear short and non typical stuff, something like Sandi's lovely dress. At the end of the day, I'm not wearing like every other girl invited in the wedding and that's always a plus;)

Do you have JOSEP FONT or MYREIA RUIZ down there? Josep FOnt is my fav one altho a bit pricy

dont dress too obvious (by that I mean like you are going clubbing)

Go for something classic, comfortable and stylish
(how about a linen trouser suit with a gorgeous top, so jacket for the wedding ceremony and a top that will knock em dead underneath with some really nice jewellery

Hair - if you have long hair, go for up, tousled and simple, then let your hair down later at night.

Dont act like you care about the ex - after all remember "she is the ex" dont be too clingy to your boyfriend either (that just looks desperate) make sure you mingle and make an effort with the other guests - you want to come across as charming, stylish, sociable and friendly.... if she starts or tries to make trouble, apologise to the host/hostess and make your apologies for leaving - do not get into a catfight at someone's wedding :lol: :lol: :lol:

At the end of the day, you want to come across in the best possible light.

That is soooooooooo true Puppylover....thanks for the advice!!!! Even though I will probably want to stab her eye out with my fancy heels during the day....I want to be the "grown-up" one at the end of the day really!!!!:lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Thanks Silv....I´m the same....I HATE to wear what everyone else does etc. etc. I prefer to wear something subtle but a bit different....:D

I´ve never heard of those shops but I¨m sure they have one in Malaga no? I quite like Adolfo Dominguez too for fancy stuff.....;)

I'm not sure if you could find Josep Abril or Myreia Ruiz (Bad Habits) in Malaga, check their website.
Do you know U by Adolfo Dominguez, it's cheaper and fancier ;)

I could only find mens for Josep Abril and Myreia Ruiz....I dont think they have either here....it says Barcelona only....:roll:

I will keep looking....U....Adolfo Dominguez....;)

email them and ask for concessions. Josep FONT (not Abril altho this one is good too) has shops in BCN and Paris but you can find his stuff in Madrid and other places.
Is there any new designer's shop?

Not really....the shops are really chav here.....:? .....we have all the regulars like Zara, Mango, Aldolfo Dominguez, Pull & Bear but if you want something a little more nice we have Versace :? , Von Dutch :? Juicy Couture :? Madonna :? etc. etc.....so not really my cup of tea!:? :lol:

Try and find Diesel etc. its a bloody nightmare!:evil:
