The people behind Camden’s Lock Tavern and Islington’s Embassy bar will host an alternative dance music tent at Glastonbury this year with Soulwax, Audio Bullys and UNKLE among the performers.
Their tent will be located near the main dance tent will be a cafe hang out during the day and have a feverish DJ schedule between 10pm and 5am. Embassy and Lock Tavern boss, Dan Crouch told BiB: “We were very lucky to get it, we’re one of only five or six tents allowed to run through the night.”
Although this is the first time they have hosted a tent at Glastonbury, The Embassy has previously been involved in the backstage entertainment at the festival. Lock Tavern co-owner, Jon Carter will also put in an appearance to promote his new Saville Row label.
