About the tickets

I forgot...

Most hotels sell tickets in the reception and they are usually 10-15 euro cheaper than if you buy it at the door. There are also people selling tickets on the streets and in bars. I'd stay away from them because there's a chance you will get scammed.

Also expect to pay up to 50 euro per ticked for Pacha (more at the door). Beer inside is 10 euros and drinks are 15+. You can always bring your own beer/liquor and hope you don't get caught but one look at the bouncers might change your mind :p

There's also sort of a dress code. Jeans, sneakers and a t-shirt is fine but you won't get in wearing a hairy chest, shorts and slippers :)

Defected at Pacha sounds like a plan imo. Good luck and have fun!
 
Having just got back and been to Pacha twice I would say go anywhere but Pacha.

Went to Def Mix last saturday and still not seen either David or Frankie because they were not there and by what we were told on the door had no intention. David (wheres me egg) Guetta was given top billing and might as well been a F**k me I am ..... night.

Went back on Friday for Pure Pacha and knew as soon as I entered I should have gone to El Divino.

You should have gone to Release Yourself, Defected or Subliminal. :idea: :o
 
El Divino is a nice venue, but it doesn't seem to have great nights this year. I would definitely advise against Hed Kandi, the music is very poppy and doesn't have a great crowd. Almost entirely English too, not the cosmopolitan mix you usually get in Ibiza. Pacha (along with Space) is a must-see club with a great crowd despite the abundance of VIP areas and some fantastic nights - Defected or Def Mix would be my recommendation too.
 
To the original poster. If you get one night then surely its got to be Pacha.

My choice would be Release Yourself on Monday with Roger Sanchez.

The club will be busy and fully open but not as over rammed as Def Mix or Pure Pacha. Theres hip hop and R&B in the Global room (galaxy) as opposed to rock music (Ibiza Rocks) in there on the Defected night...

I'd expect Defected to be musically the closest to Hed Kandi but will be a lot less commercial dance and probably less vocal. A lot will depend on who is spinning.

I'd never been to El D til this summer but I really enjoyed it. Played there for KDF last week warming up for Sharem Jay, and I liked the fact it was small, and the outside area looking out over D'Alt Villa.

In terms of that v Pacha, it's worth checking out both, but it's likely you'd do Pacha first. It's a pretty amazing club, but I have to say I'm not as fussed about it any more. Not been since 2005, and that's mostly as it's more of a wander round and take in the sights place for me and not great for dancing. After all the roped off areas are taken into account, the actual dancefloor isn't huge or that great, and after 4 years of going in a row I'm not as bothered.

Still, horses for courses, worth visiting all of them at some point, even Privilege, just to see how big it is.
