Scary thing is that the first Universe I went to (Pleasure Planet) was in 1991 - almost 15 years ago!!

Found an old MP3 file yesterday of DIY Jack from Obsession 3rd Dimension and burnt it to cd

weird how I could almost remember all the MC's lyrics on the journey to work this morning :lol: :oops:

Yeah Pleasure Planet was the one 'over the bridge' ;)

Mean Fiddler are still about though - they do part of Glasto now don't they?

and that poor excuse for a festival called Homefields (or something like that :lol: )

Mean Fiddler were always the financial back bone of Universe in the aftermath of the Criminal Justice Act (Grrr) and after many failed attempts at getting decent sponsors on board.

They never demonstrated any creativity at all...(see aforementioned creamlands dross) ;)
 
ra ra ra Never as good as it used to be...raves in field, never steeped in a club til 1999...would last for weeks, not hours or days...pills used to last for 6 months, but cost £60 for a HALF...everyone would openly GIVE you money just for attending...police joined in too...

well i went to United States of Mind (top left hand corner of the flyer) squat parties in brixton in 1991. before they sold out etc

and they were better than anything anyone on here has ever been to. FACT ;)

btw dan, my double coated doves are STILL working.

They renamed themselves 'Factor E' or something and got raided.

It was carnage but in quite a funny way.

I actually would have thought it was more than 10 years ago, I was living in Nottingham at the time and we all went down on a train and when I think I've been in FLT for over 6 years now and then there was a few nomad years before that I would have put it earlier :? :lol:
