EDEN line-up + opening date!!

If Ministry are going down that road, wouldn't they have been aswell "presenting Dave Pearce" and Slinky doing the type of night we're more accustomed to seeing from them...just a thought :?

After 2 relatively poor summers at es paradis and privilege I think Slinky needed a big cheesy name that would appeal to the masses and save them from extinction on the island! :D

GIVE NEW TALENT A CHANCE!

anyone else bored of the same old stuff in ibiza?

same names, playing same venues?

ok, i know we all got our fave a-list djs... but to be honest, dont u think its time for the bigger nights to give some of the unknowns a go on the bigger stage?

some of the guys on the board are so fugging wicked!

or do u have to wear a baseball cap, or have an incredibly brown tongue to get a slot these days?

ye, I suppose...I went to Slinky @ Privilege last year, Marco V & Scott Project, Scott Project only played (I think) for about three quarters of an hour, then Marco V took over and played what was probably the best set I heard my whole holiday - he played for about 3 hours and threw in a bit of everything....prog, prog trance, trance, hard trance and techno, like I say it was probably one of the best sets I heard my whole holiday but the night still didn't seem that great basically just cos it was so empty in such a big club...totally weird cos the guy played a total blinder, yet the night overall was still a total let down!

i thought that sounded familiar,i was there :P

was it just me or did Scot Project only play for about 3/4's of an hour? Thought Marco V was immense that night...will always remember sitting round to the side of the pool, totally out of energy towards the end of his set, then I heard the familiar intro bit of Motorcycle (which was just THE tune for me at the time...had been dying to hear it my whole holiday!), and all of a sudden I was back up bouncing away at the front...and leading my mates in an impromptu karaoke sesh to 'As The Rush Comes'

That was the first time i've been to Privilege and it's sorta put me off goin back cos there was just no atmosphere at all, it was so weird having the dj so far away and the club is just so huuuugeee, might go back for Manumission this year, would love to see the place in full flow

do it. 10,000 people in there is an amazing sight! ;)

think I probably will, gonna be out there for their 10th birthday over the radio 1 weekend...reckon that could be a good time to do Manu for the first time :D

Got my holiday dates changed for September aswell, now stayin in the Hotel Brisa, cheers for the advice!

I think you´re right Stuie, they are pulling the dave P thing as they want more masses, a good scoop for both - dave gets more cred and Slinky get more peeps. Slinky schould be good for Eden but MOS there!! noooo way!

Have heard from a fairly reliable source the ressies this year are.....

Wait for it....

Alex and Brandon.

Alex (maybe both of 'em) has being playing Yates a-like pub chain 'The Puzzle' pubs, So... the San An market should be primed for them. Think clued up younger clubbers have never heard of 'em and older proper clubbers left 'em behind long ago - but people a little worse for wear going 'clubbing' after the West End, will be up for 'em.
