Eden, El Divino or Privilege??

Which is the best? Went to all the others last year apart from these and I'm trying to decide what to do this year, but only have the Wenesday and Saturday nights free. I like funky house & trance but not hard house or techno.

Most people (including myself) will tell you to forget about Eden...its very much a San Antonio club, if you see what i mean.....full of younger English crowd with nothing on offer for the more discerning person - although it depends on what you are looking for i guess. If you liked Es Paradis then you may love it..? Although if you ask me you have to worry about any club that has a "School Disco" night ! 8O :evil:

Privilage is a very different animal - its a huge huge club - but in all honesty Manumission on Monday night is the only time that its worth going to...however Balearic People is on Saturday - so it might be worth a punt.

Which leaves us with El Divino - in my opinion the best bet of the 3....its a wicked place when it gets full and as its the smallest club onthe island it has a great atmos when going.....and the view over the harbour of ibiza town is the best you will get at any club....period. not sure whats on for saturdays at el divino though this year - maybe Hed Kandi....nothing is fixed yet as far as i can see.....however i have no doubt something good will be on. Make sure you turn up at 1am onwards though as its a restaurant early on and you might bump into a load of ralph lauren shirted, chino trousered americans!!!!!!!!! 8O

Well if you only have wednesday or saturday free then:

Wednesday @ Eden is Lashed - so if you like your house hard then try this

Baleric People on Saturday @ Privilege is apparently worth a visit but being a big Manumission fan I wouldn't go.. think i'd be disappointed as manumission is the only night to fill/use the whole club.

Although I quite fancy the idea of Mauro P on Wednesday @ Privilege this is La Troya night so it's not likely i'll go!

Saturday @ Eden is Dave Pierce - commercial bull$hit for the beerboybrits - don't waste ya euroz!
 
To be honest, I never really noticed the crowd being bad at Eden when I was there, unlike most ppl on this board say. The worst crowd I ran into was the Manumission Monday crowd.. extremely snobby and pushy, but that coulda been bc it was my first night in Ibiza and I didn't know what to expect. The Manumission Saturday E-mix was a proper crowd though.

I love how a club looks and is laid out, but for me, it's the music that's the driving force. If you're the same, then it depends what you want to hear. If funky house is what you're looking for, without a doubt go to El Divino on Saturday for HED KANDI!!! There's no trance Wednesday or Saturday, I don't think. Unless you consider Dave Pearce's OLD OLD OLD school trance that even me, the biggest trance freak ever, isn't interested in hearing in Ibiza.

I would defo go for El Divino, lovely small intimate club with views of the old town, got to the defected night on the friday......

have no urge whatsoever to go to eden.....but others may tell you good things about it..
 
Privilege is an experience and a half. I like Manumission, but some of the ppl there are extremely rude. I love the dome outside though... pure class :D
 
Try all of them and decide for yourself.
That's the best advice since each and every one of us likes different (or the same) things :D

Balearic people @ Privilege is excellent :!: And it is right kind of music for you 8)

WEDNESDAY
Eden/Privilege/El Divino...no good choices here - go to Pacha ;)

same good house to warm u up and some proper trance to dance to all nite.

from my experience back in 2002,
eden was wery good, i don't know why people on this forum complain about drunk english youngsters in there,i was in eden few times and i never got or saw any trouble (unlike the west end), had some mad memories of the place, especially godskitchen.
i was at the mannumision opening party in privelege and the palce was just amazing,the people & the athmospere, watchin the sun comin up behind the stage is just something.
havent been to eldivino yet but its on my list for this year
 
justm them usic in Eden can be a bit off sometimes. If only is just stayed with the cheese, but its just a bad mixture of poor, weird, want to be so hard and tough, non melodic records imo
 
Decisions Decisions

Thanks for all the advice. At the moment I will be doing underwater @ Pacha on Tuesday, Cream @ Amnesia on Thursday and Space Sunday afternoon / evening. Think I will do the bars on Mon, Wed and Fri. This leaves me with Saturday evening to choose. I think I am put off Eden now, so would decide between Baleiric People at Privilege ( what is that?? What music???) , or El Divino. Anyone know what music they have on a Sat

PS - I read somewhere that Armin is playing a weekly residency for godskitchen somewhere. Is this just a rumour???
PPS - Bora Bora- Whats the general Consensus??? Was thinking about going there either before or after Space on the sunday afternoon
