Oh no, I seem to have found myself on the same flights...My finger must have slipped!!

Oh dear, accidents do happen don't they, don't stress your pretty little head over it, I'm sure we'll get over it

Yay the Gollum's coming to Ibiza which means the She Boggle is going on tour   ;)

OK, practical question.

When you're booking now... do you pay right away or are you just making a reservation? If it is a reservation, when do you have to confirm/pay?

Are you talking bout flights or accomodation??

Flights you make booking and pay for it there and then.

Accomodation I book privately so I pay deposit when I book it and then the balance either on arrival or some ask for it a couple of weeks before arrival.

I was referring to Easyjet, as that is the subject of this thread!

Hotels I usually book through Spotlight - 10% upfront and the remainder right before your trip.

I was just curious if Easyjet took reservations or not. If you're paying right away, apparently not.

Think I paid 24.99 leaving stanstead at 13:00, arriving Ibiza 17:00(about August 29th, returned to Gatwick paying 34.99 leaving at 1:00 am arriving Gatwick at 3:40... on about September 9th(or 8th?)
this is he second time I've returned on that silly time return flight though, next year, will leave at a normal time!

I've never heard of any UK airline just taking reservations and not money, everyone I've flown with you pay upon making booking.

Agree.... Can anyone remember wot they paid last yr????

Yay they're more expensive, all flights anywhere are more expensive due to oil prices and all that malarky.

Last year I booked same flights with Easyjet at similar time to this and they were about £40 cheaper than this year.

If you're going to book, it's best to book now cos prices will only get more expensive.

Last year I remember the pirces changing up and down, my return flight, I remember it going from 26.99, then 34.99, then was up to 44.99.. so I thought I'd better get booking, but didn't have my credit card with me at the time, but when I went back to book, the prices had gone back down again...

I'd like to book now, but I can't make decisions that far ahead!

Full price carriers (BA, KLM, Lufthansa, the American ones) often do. There's usually some limits though, like a few weeks before it expires.

I haven't flown much on budget airlines so I wasn't sure if they did the same.
