Thursday: A couple of drinks after work then back home for an early night

Friday: Relaxing during the day, a bit of shopping and then an afternoon in the pub catching the last of the sunshine in the garden. Followed this by going to slide here in oxford for tom middleton who was ok, but not really my favourite style of music. Left reasonably early.

Saturday: Not much during the day, then headed down to london for steve bug at a warehouse in shoreditch, which was brilliant, he played an excellent set. Left and went to meet robder & co at turnmills for trade. trade was good but the music didn't get good until around 10am which was a pain, as I had to leave at 12 to get to the toilet... brilliant toilet as usual   , followed this by some aftershow antics at robs   and then headed out to trailer trash at another warehouse in limehouse. Trailer trash was absolutely boiling hot and had the 18 year old fashion student boombox crowd who are beginning to do my head in with their ridiculous outfits and teenage antics (tsk!). Sound system packed in all night but otherwise not too bad. Finally got to bed around 5am monday morning urgh!

Slept for a while then before heading back to oxford popped into T-bar for the stink all dayer party 8O which was excellent, ended up staying for about 4 hours and finally caught the bus back to oxford late monday evening.

Brilliant weekend overall, absolutely horrible. Looking forward to going on holiday on thursday :D :D :D

See above.

Friday daytime - general preparation for weekend anhead - outfit buying/accessorising/trying on, hair appointment, visit to gym for general body punishment

Friday night - Kidology at the Cross with Mark Wilkinson and Yousef. Managed to leave with two inflatable guitars, gold dollar sign plastic medallion and two tambourines and a whistle so all in all a good night... although the music a tad on the cheese side. All back to mine for much messiness.

Saturday - also went to Shoreditch for Steve Bug/Electric Sex which rocked big time. Best night of the year so far. Cant wait to see Ryan and Andy in Ibiza at Eden - will be rocking. Then onto the afterparty Jaded very very very messy indeed. Enough said

Sunday - recovery. DVD's and Pizza and Haagen Dazs

Monday - decided to try out my useless EBay purchase of quad skates - purchased for cool skating along new promenade in San An. Went with James to deserted tennis courts at the park near our house. Realised he is an expert and proceeded to spend most of the time on the floor. James found this hilarious and was formally sacked as instructor. Determined to master this in the next 8 weeks on my own!!!:D

Great weekend!

Thurs - went out in London after work for some drinks with the girlies and boys, was a very good night, lots of drunkedness

Fri - suffering slightly after all the Rose consumed the night before, spent all day down Old Leigh town enjoying the sea and the sun, sat on a pub wall for most of the day drinking and chatting and eating. Evening just went round a friends for a bit of chilling and a curry.

Sat - went to Brighton for the day, had such a lovely day, wasnt as hot as Fri so didnt quite make it on the beach but enjoyed the shops, the drinks we had and made it to a lovely tapas place for lunch - was yummy.

Sun - relaxed in the garden all day with my sister, eating and chatting, even caught the sun. Went to Chicagos in Basildon for the evening, good bit of drinking and cheese music, proceeded to Jumpin Jaks - big mistake, no cash left in any of the cash machines in the area, £10 to get in and East 17 were on stage singing - WTF I hear you say!

Mon - spent the day relaxing in the sunshine again

Great weekend, I have since decided Easter is my fave break of the year, espec when the weather is so gorgeous :p

Great weekend!

did steve bug play at jaded? I heard conflicting reports that he did...

apparently sven vath is playing at jaded after his end gig next week.

Not been to jaded since it was at the egg, any good?

Thurs - Bedrock at Heaven. Was quality. S.O.S rocked!!!! I love them!
Went for a few drinks after work as it is literally 2 mins away. Mentioned I was going to Heaven and got a few wierd comments from my cheese only colleagues. hehe

Fri- Chilled. Went for some drinks with mates in Camden/Kentish town in the eve

Sat - Went to public life for the Issst pre-party around 5ish and then onwards and upwards to the Steve Bug / Pokerflat pty (by the sounds of it, seems like I was in good spotlight company!)

GREAT night....best night clubbing in AGES!....great music, vibes, venue and possibly the friendliest crowd I have personally been out to in a longwhile. Bumped into some jokers we met at DC-10 in July as well which was funny.
Cant wait until a few weeks time when I only live 5mins away from the carnage instead of a deathly hours journey. Although it was a beautiful morning. :D

i think he did play but i was pretty random by that time. Judging by his my space pic there was a person bearing a resemblance in the dj booth at some point! my boyfriend is the dj whore in the household i will ask him.

I had really gone to see ElectricSex, but in any case it was really good.

Glad its no longer at Egg as it reminds me of the Big Brother garden!

fri - up oscenely early to catch the 6:40 flight to Paris. got there and make an assault course of getting to the hotel. lovely place a stones throw from the Arc de Triomphe. Spent the afternoon exploring the area then met with Lauras uncle and he took us for a lovely meal

sat - spent the morning firstly at the Sacre Couer (i'm sure God wanted his churches to flog €2 medallions at the exits :p ) then over the Seine to see the David Lynch exhibition - i loved it but i'm a fan of his mentalness, laura found it fairly disturbing.

in the afternoon we wandered around the Eiffel Tower but with not having 30 years free to wait in line we decided against going up. after a very swish meal (inc Snails!) we wandered up the Champs-Elysees

sun - morning in the Louvre (saw about 10% of it -too too big) and then the afternoon in a lovely wee zoo with cute Orangutans. absolutely cracking meal at night (more snails)

mon - a few shops (but not much) and then tried to see the Rodin museum (closed :( ), lunch around the Eiffel Tower and then a long walk up to the top of the Arc de Triomphe (i nearly became the unknown soldier in the tomb attempting to climb those stairs) - wonderful views of Paris from there. Drifted around the Etoile area until it was time to depart.

all in all a fantastic weekend
loads of walking
lovely food and drink
sun blazing down all weekend (slightly pink today)

My mum and dad went to Paris for the weekend last year they absolutely loved it as well!

forgot to add that the D'oh moment(s) of the weekend was my lingual nonsense

having been going to Spain for years i've been used to learning a wee bit of Spanish
i have basic French from school - 15+ years ago

hence i started a new Spancais language with a bit of both

:spank:

Thurs - wines after work, then to Faith @ Turnmills and met up with all the usual suspects. Faith was pretty average imo this year, def not up to their usual standards :? The main room never really got going, T2 was very good when Rahaan (sp??) played, the back room should have had a bomb put under it - imagine the worsehedkandifunkyhousebynumbers on the worse sound system in the world :spank: Even Tom's Reggae Room was an improvement on that :spank: So back to ours with Gollum and co for the night to really begin  Don't really know where Friday went, at one point it was 9am Friday morning the next minute it was 7pm Friday night :? 8O  It must have been the Battle of Primark (tm) distracting us  Finally crawled into bed 11pm Friday night feeling like I'd need a life support machine to get me thru the night :spank:

Sat - Alive (just  ). Hairdressers :spank: At night Chinese, wines and the pop quiz with Gollum etc.

Sun - veggie roast and wines in the sunshine, then all day drinking sesh watching the cricket before the next installment :spank: Met everyone in Camden for drinks, then into Koko. Koko is basically exactly the same as Camden Palace ever was with a lick of paint, godknows where the multi-million pound refurb went  Absolutely fantastic night, the music was blinding from the word go and Armand was just ace :D Danced our titties off til the night came to an all abrupt end, back to ours with Big Head and another day of carnage followed

I really do think Easter Weekend is THE best weekend of the year - when is the next one

Thurs - Day off so pottered around at home doing boring housework. In the evening we went for a meal with my mum & dad & Matt's mum & dad. All very pleasant.

Fri - Spent the afternoon in the pub, friends came back to ours for a few.

Sat - Out for lunch & watched football. Got bus to London, spent about 3 hours in The Champion by Notting Hill Gate tube - love that pub. Then went to Soul City in Covent garden. had a brilliant, brilliant night. Karizma was just fantastic! Danced all night. Atmosphere in there is so friendly, probably one of the best nights in London. In my opinion anyway!

Sun - Slept til about 2 then up & off down the pub. Drank lots of wine, back to ours for more wine!

Mon - Felt like death! Off to the parents for BBQ in the afternoon - junk food defo what the Doctor ordered! Early night for me!

All in all a great weekend. Roll on the next Bank Holiday!

Looks like a busy weekend for most of us!

Like thelak says, thought SOS at Bedrock were amazing on thursday. Those guys never disappoint, even the less celebrated omid16b and demi played great tunes. Only went dowstairs for digweed once, and he was playing good stuff but it was WAY too hot.
Only down side to the night was the clubs policy not to allow bottles into the toilets?! Very annoying and not very safe considering the heat downstairs!

Cant wait for SOS(minus Demi) at The Gallery on the 27th of April.

Saturday headed to the new Nocturnal night at turnmils. Lots of hands in the air tunes from the likes of Inland Knights, Trophy Twins and Martijn Ten Velden.. even the Shapeshifters played a decent set!
Considered hanging around for Trade afterwards, but we decided against it.

That is my thought of the year, when else do you get 4 days off for nothing!

Thu: Phil an I decided to pop out for a "coupley night" of drinks and a nice meal instead of the Forensic Records annual party - as we both had ****ty weeks at work and needed to chill rather than party on (oh lord - have I grown up ??????) Proceeded to get rather drunk, and thought lets go for the meal before it goes horribly wrong.... got to the restaurant and the waiting time for a table was 1.5hrs - eeek!! left the restaurant, hailed a cab, ordered an Indian takeaway and arrived home at the same time as the food - quality!!

Fri: Lovely lovey day, garden all morning, then Phil went to Liverpool (came back a very happy bunny!!) I went shopping and bought more Ibiza clothes (I need a seperate wardrobe for these purchases and there is still 10 weeks to go!!) Went out on the evening for a friend's leaving do. Horrible shock on the way to the venue - saw a young boy lying in the middle of the opp side of the motorway with police shutting off the road - I was so shocked... it was harrowing!!! Sort of spoilt my evening - and consequently wasnt really having the best of times - left pretty early - back home my midnight.

Sat: In the garden again, then Phil and I went out to catch up with some mates and it all went down hill very quickly - but turned out to be one of the funniest days/nights in one of the most inappropriate pubs ever - felt very very naughty and that in turn made it even more amusing... and really wrong!! Decided its more fun being naughty in an inappropriate environment than in a club....

Sun: urgh - forced a proper late lunch down my neck and walked for the papers (driving was so not an option - I could only see properly with one hand over one eye :? :? ) lay around all day - that's as much as we could do then perked up again around early evening .....

Mon: Healthy day - walked for hours up the coast - went to see some historical ruins then stopped for gorgeous Fish and Chips - home for a lie down with a big fat stomach....

To be honest, I feel like I have never stopped this weekend...... thoroughly enjoyed it...8) 8) 8)
