Not complaining by any means... but SO SHOCKED that this post even exists on here... and has been made sticky!! Anyone else in bewilderment?

I mean, every time I have mentioned my little "escapades," I have tried to use code phrases to avoid being deleted hahaha. Maybe it is still here because it is sorta anti-drug... IE, this is how drugs F up your brain. LOL.

here here,my ketamine post from last month was a great anti drugs message yet got deleted

Hahaha.

Just super weird when we have all been spanked so hard in the past for discussing this topic, no matter whether we're anti or for.... :? Don't know what to think

As they say..."you know what thought did"

Thunk a thought :?

Don't think just do it :!: ;)

That is a disturbing pic!!

That's what a high level psychedelic trip feels like. In a way, the guy's face is somewhat deceiving because it looks like he is in pain. But in actuality, he is experiencing a profound state of rapture - basicly the feeling of complete "Oneness". My NDE felt like that as well.

It's really a Gnostic type of thing - you have to experience it from the inside.

I appreciate that Delacroix, but still way creeped out by those images lol. And by any drug that could possibly make me feel that inhuman. I have come close in the past, and I'm surprised I didn't croak from cardiac arrest. I have never been too grand on drugs to tell you the truth. Guess I am too paranoid about consequences.

I assume NDE means near death experience? Care to share more?

ps. just perused Alex Grey's website... amazingly imaginative work but very much not my style. I am scared looking at it. He certainly must have had his share of illegal substances for one lifetime

I understand. :)

One of the drugs that inspired Alex Grey is called DMT (di-methyl-tryptamine). It's one of the world's most powerful psychedelics. But the important part...is that it is found in the human brain...and it is activated when you die. The drug was nicknamed the "Spirit Molecule" by a doctor doing research on it (Dr. Rick Strassman). As you die, it starts to amplify whichever emotion you are currently set upon. As your surrondings brighten, you start to trip. I guess the rest is open to intrepretation...

Ironically, DMT is illegal in the U.S. This technically means that all humans are carrying around an illegal drug in their head (pineal gland).

I assume NDE means near death experience? Care to share more?

I took an extreme amount of a rare, experimental psychedelic (name withheld). The drug I took is actually somewhat dangerous compared to mainstream psychedelics like Mushrooms, LSD, DMT, etc. However, it allowed access to the subconscious in a very bizarre manner and altered my perception in ways that I never knew existed among psychedelics. Anyways, I wanted to do a level 5 trip with it, because I needed some "answers". Basicly, I had to take a potentially lethal dose.

Anyways, the NDE will be hard to explain, but I'll share a little one of these days. I definitely got more than just an answer...to say the least...

Alex Grey does a lot of album cover artwork for the band Tool. His art is amazing, but it is a little trippy 8O

Yeah, that's my favorite band. ;)

More of an Eastern Mysticism image than a drug related one.
