He never did come back after his trip last year. I guess it didn't live up to his hedonistic expectations :!:

I read the above posts and noticed that alot of people seemed to be getting rushed to hospital or dieing from drug usage!
As there is a definite market in Ibiza for drugs (to a percentage of the clubbers) are they crap and cut with allsorts?? or is it like drugs you find anywhere?
Coming to Ibiza for the 1st time in August and coming in a mixed group of people who do and people who dont take drugs.. We are all sensible and obviously understand the risks involved of having a chemically enhanced night but dont really fancy coming home in a coffin!!

this forum isn't relly for advocating the use of drugs or their quality. bottom line is, if you do decide to take them you take the risks just like anywhere else. of jail and hospital, but as i said, just like anywhere else.

Stephen - Im confused. All i'm understanding from that is packet of chocolates or something???

I heard about that.

Just not about the deaths, the hospitalisations or the police being refused entry into a club's VIP area.

I have a mate who lived in Ibiza for 6 months and he said there is no shortage and mostly good quality as long as you don't buy off Moroccoans (no offence to any Moroccoans on here)

its been well documented with lots of articles on ddi, uh and el mundo.....

· about the hospitalisations at the beginning of june that el ste mentioned, 8 between june 2nd and 4th (there has been lots more after that, some of them about to die):

http://www.diariodeibiza.es/secciones/noticia.jsp?pIdNoticia=113799&pIdSeccion=2

· and about the death of the 27 year old irish clubber, that died on june 5th:

http://www.diariodeibiza.com/secciones/noticia.jsp?pIdNoticia=70452&pIdSeccion=2

· cant find a link to any article about what happened in the vip of a well known club in ibiza town but here you have what the president of the hoteliers has to say about it:

I heard the best way to combat any drug is to take a line of coke, its apparantly the strongest drug and will bring you out of any bad experience you might be having.
There is of course the threat of a heart attack when mixing drugs like that but, hey, depends if you want the risk

Ahem... perhaps translating it yourself would be good practice. You ARE learning Spanish, right Becs? ;)

Errr we learnt how to describe people in our Spanish course, not how to translate Spanish drug laws! 8O
