Drinking on the beach

Are you allowed to drink alcohol on the beach in ibiza?

Also, do the beaches have showers/toilet facilities (ep. Bora Bora)

We have always had a wee drink on the beach - no problems at all. Saying tht I am talking a couple of beers each (or back onto the beach after having a couple of wines with lunch at Cafe America ;)).

The police are always driving up and down the promenade in Figueretas - which instead of being intimidating is actually very comforting knowing they are close by.

As long as you are not being obnoxious or steaming drunk you wont have a problem.

Enjoy

well the promenade that runs through mambos and the other strip bars do not belong to the bars so technically its a public space which means you can drink what you like, however, the authorities are bringing in a rule to ban outside drinking from bottles etc around san antonio.

similarly, the beach does not belong to mambos either

Mambo will ask you not to drink your own if you are sitting on the steps leading from their decking down to the rocks, just like they used to if you sat on one of their sun loungers, but I'm pretty sure they can't stop you if you are actually on the rocks, we did it a few times (and also while sitting on the steps in front of Rey de Copas).
