Drink/shot sizes in clubs

I've been to Ibiza a few times and know when you order a vodka coke, it comes in a tall glass that is about 80% vodka What i wanted to know was if you buy a straight spirit, like a tequila or vodka if you get the same amount or do you just get a shot?

if you order a shot you get a shot.

if you order any spirit on the rocks, you get about half a glass full (means they first fill the glass with ice cubes and then fill up until half).

Lucky if the vodka is a UK double in most clubs (once you figure how much room the ice takes up), Ushuaia being one notable exception. I estimated about 6 units in there. 8) Mind you, be prepared for a long queue when you go to p*** it out.

Do you get more vodka then if you ask for no ice?
