drink deals in the West End? also Measures of shots?

are there many buy 1 get another free offers?

also, are the measures like they use to be, half a pint of vodka and the rest coke or whateva u have with ur drinks...? (slightly exaggerated on the half pint:P)
 
Only stopped off once last year in the westend and had a vodka & redbull and the measures were rather large!!! Was pretty much half a pint of vodka for 6€ 8)
 
think the measures are the same all over the island - i think its a Spanish thing ;) I usually count them as 2-3 drinks.

Been years since I drank in the West End but then the favourite "offer" was buy 4 drinks (beers) and get a free bottle of Vodka (Cheap and undoubtably watered down)
 
yep i work pring at the bar that does the offer, buy 4 drinks get a bottle of vodka/snapps or jug of cocktail cant go wrong!

It's not that Spanish measures are large, it's that British ones are small.

For me, the drink measures in Ibiza are perfectly normal... same as I see everywhere except the UK :roll:
 
the measure are almost the same as a double over here. they take a thin tall glass, fill it with massive ice cubes add a little bit of spirit and it looks like the glass is full.

I've just got back from San Antonio today- can't say I saw the name of the bar, but half way up the west end (next to the Irish bar) they did us 4 bottles & a free bottle of vodka! Was the worst vodka I've ever tasted.

Sorry I can't help with the name of the bar, but the name of the PR girl out the front was Kim :roll:

last year we got buy 4 cocktails get a free bottle of vodka, peach schnapps or tequila

we got tequila and the stuff was proper rank

Ditto me & Mambs must have visited same bar as you. He served us half a pint of Smirnoff & topped it up with Red Bull. Yes it tasted like and came from a genuine Smirnoff bottle, munted us for the rest of the night.

West End = many cheap as chips deals for all booze, but if you don't like the clientele you can buy it from supermarkets and sup your pre-drinks at your pad in leisure. Me and Mambs opted for the latter, we went & purposely bought 2 vino glasses to sup from on our balcony, and Mambs bought her phat candle ;)

:lol: classy birds that we are!!, gotta have a nice candle flickering away and drink wine from a wine glass ;)

I can remember telling you to hurry up and drink that bucket of vodka and you were 8O :lol:. Laffing so hard at the chav scum walking up the street in tracksuit bottoms and caps 8O :lol:
