Driftwood Boat Parties 2015

Really bad year for Driftwood it would seem. Have the Connect parties made it too much trance in a short space of time for the island...
 
Trance in general are not doing good at the island. Cream is the least filled i have seen in a long time. Some events are just sort of dead. Colors got canceled and Clandestin is getting cut.

And Driftwood moving up against Connect make it even more harsh to survive. Even ITE doesnt seem to do that well since they are selling out the wristbands from their package at the moment.

Sad to see especially when cream have moved to a more "real" trance line up with adding the likes of Kearny, suckley & solar stone etc.

Maybe the younger generation who seem to flock to the island peak season don't know what real trance is.

Connect was packed when I attended early July amazing atmosphere. Would love to see the scene boom in Ibiza amazing music
 
Connect are doing okay from what i have heard. Boatparties are fine but Vista arent exactly rammed. Think they will do better if Driftwood gets out of the picture.

Its going to be super interesting to see what happens to Cream after this season. Their Creamfields event seem to have been almost 100% regular EDM and other non-trance.

Problem are as you say re-growth. From where is it going to come?
 
My dream is too see Eddie halliwell in the main room of amnesia. Doubt it will happen any time soon even when he is playing more trance
