Drew Barrymore may be new face of 'Missoni'

Hollywood actress Drew Barrymore has reportedly been chosen as the official "face" of the world famous design house "Missoni".

The 30 year old star is currently in Ibiza posing for the Italian fashion house's Spring-Summer 2006 Collections with Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot, reports Femalefirst quoting the Woman's Wear Daily.

The 50-year-old fashion house, Missoni is known worldwide for their distinctive bright zig zag prints and patterns.

The actress's last modelling assignment was for French cosmetic house Lanctme. (ANI)

She is such a sweet person. I met her and her dog at Petco last year when she was buying him a bed.

Extremely random! I decided to do some shopping for cat food on a whim, walked in and there she was at the checkout, bright as the sun! Some people were playing with her dog, he was as friendly as she was. I told her I was sorry to hear about her dad dying (this was November of last year) and she was so gracious, said Happy Holidays, and that was my Drew encounter! People run into her all the time downtown and say the same thing, she's the nicest celebrity they've ever encountered.
