I used to go as cyber in the States too when i was living in New York a few years ago.
Visited clubs such as Centro Fly, Roxy, Twilo (R.I.P), Vinyl (Now ARC, soon R.I.P?), Tunnel, Sound Factory, etc... when wearing cyber ;)

I'm anxiously awaiting your pics! I've never seen a person in Cyber here in the states, although they probaby exist somewhere around me.... Or I've been too lost in my own bint world, (to use Barbie'e expression  ) to notice!

Sounds interesting!!

I thought in America they were called Candy Kids or something like that :? 8O

Babs those are CANDY RAVERS, but they're MUCH different than what u refer to as cybers.

(I can give u exact definition if u want :) )

Candy ravers are like the cyber kids from Gatecrasher of old - dummies, pipe cleaners in their hair, all that shenanigans aren't they??

what is cyber?

im confused

Gatecrasher kids, flourescent clothing, flashing lights, bicycle lamps on their head, pipe cleaners in their hair, illuminous furry boots, Pokemon rucksacks on their back..........all that malarky 8O

I guess I've seen what I would refer to as Raver Kids at clubs/events with some of the type of gear that you refer to as Cyber but I've never seen anything close to the King of Cyber!!! Now that's something.

Most places I go I don't see any creative costumes. The most outrageous costumes I've seen have been in Ibiza! Manumission, etc.

Those costumes u r talking about were wore by the Manumission production crew and not by the clubbers themselve...

These days, yes.

But a lot of people used to go to manumission in all kinds of costumes.

No, just a cyber.
Cause i dress different than those cyberkids and use different resources, which enable me to have a more unique and immersed clubbing gear/costums... regardless of my old age :D

And they say a picture worth a thousand words, so I say seeing us in the action worth a million pictures 8) 8)

Now, Pictures of some CYBERKIDS you can find here:

See the differences between what i call CYBERS (me & my friends) to CYBERKIDS, and please try not to confuse us with them

'nuff said

There is obviously a difference between your pics and the slinkys. It's still not everyones thing tho for sure. ;)

It obvious tho that you put a lot of effort into your clubbing gear, it's something you are passionate about so good luck to ya. You stand out from the rest especially the guys who wear their best Ben Sherman out every night and this shows your conviction to your music and having fun.

But will Barbie crown you King of Cyber? :D
We'll have to wait and see!

Each to their own. People wear what they want and in Ibiza you can do it. I do like wearing shorts of those that come down just below my knees, especially in Space, and it's a very common thing. Wearing long trousers in Space is wanting to endure the hot and sweat more.

I also like wearing riveted leather wristbands. Any objection? ;) :P

Places like Pacha are made for people to wear their best outfits, although you still can go there with shorts and trainers.
