I recommend…lovely sandy beach at Studland Bay (with nudist section ). Nice restaurant there called the Shell Bay (I think). Great cliff top walks with stunning views at Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door.
Why not go to Cornwall, you can fly there in about 40 mins, I know Ryanair fly to Newquay airport everyday and then hire a car the other end. Padstow is lovely, try and get a room at Rick Stein's hotel.
