Who reccomends where down that way?

Gonna head that way this weekend for our 2nd Anniversary - all ideas appreciated.

don't people head that way for their 50th/75th anniversary?

my nan and grandad like Bournemouth (aka gods waiting room!)

That was the plan and then she went to Paris on a shoot yesterday!

Ideally I'd like to take her abroad but time is a problem - I can't get away until late tomorrow night and need to be back early evening Sunday.

She's just mentioned Dorset a few times, y'see.

All other suggested destinations considered natch. (Remembering that in reality it's prolly gonna be a Sat morning departure)

How about Brighton/Blackpool?

UK destinations don't really jump out at you do they!?

Brighton - we were there the weekend before last.

Blackpool - Brighton without the nice bits and more neon.

some nice not so busy beaches a bit eastwards at Southbourne.

Could always do a spot of Sea Fishing by and catch some Bass in Poole.

Can also "a've it large" at Slinky too...

8)

Bournemouth Town Centre can get very chavvy on a Sat Night... so pack an Iron Bar too!

So... no better alternatives then? Right, I I'll book us into the 'Golden Years' home for the mentally infirm then......

Just looking....

I recommend…lovely sandy beach at Studland Bay (with nudist section 8O ). Nice restaurant there called the Shell Bay (I think). Great cliff top walks with stunning views at Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door. :D
