a cheesy old track goes around and around in your head!

Since coming back off hols and now at work, first it was Funky Town (i blame you Morillo! :) )
then it was Rick Astley Never gonna give you up and now some old disco sounding teack that ive forgotten the name of.

Goes a bit like this... 'you make my heart beat like a drum, doo doo, doo..... i feel like making love, doo doo, doo doo'

arrrggh!

Lips Inc (original) Funky Town - fantastic track

Feels like (I'm in love) - Kelly Marie (1979)

(Sure they are both on my of my very very very old Top of the Pops Albums.....)

Love that Rick Astley tune. A great reminder of 1980s pop excesses

I saw he's got a new album out now. Wonder what that's all about :?

He's still got that 1980s 2-hit wonder cache to cash in

I wonder if the old legend of Astley is true - that he was some rich woman's limo driver and she thought he was cute and decided to make him a star. :?:

the story I've always heard is that he was working as a tea boy for Pete Waterman, who then found out he could sing, so got him to record 'never gonna give you up'

This particular 80s cheesemeister used to drink in our local. Always wore the same beige Ralph Lauren shirt.

does he get his hair done at Micks??[/quote]

 No sir, he was a regular at my 'Landahn' local not the The Little Alex in Moss Side.

You missed a 'Mick' reference yesterday methinks. Someone had barely mentioned Manchester and I was like a ferret up a drainpipe!

like a red rag to a bull!!

I tried to find him on yell.com yesterday and was gonna post it for you, but couldnt find him!!

Wasn't Rick Astley on Top of the Pops last Sunday?

I thought he originally packed up the music business because he couldn't take the pressure, he was having a nervous breakdown or something?

I think he was from Ashton-in-Makerfield (Between Manchester & Wigan)
