Dolce & Gabanna Advert

When I see the picture I think: Wow, this is sexy .... maybe the woman is nymphomaniac and she want "to make love" with 4 men .... :?

I was more angry to the Calvin Klein campange some years ago with very young girls in this "Lolita-Look" .....

Fashion industry has been surfing on the porno chic wave and this ad is nothing new. What's bothering is what limits these designers are drawing.
I think this ad is gone a little too far; making a rape scene look acceptable even with glamour.
The funny thing; the male models don't look too keen on mingling with the woman. No offense to gay spotlighters.

I think she's nicked his wallet and run off, they've chased her, she's fallen and now he's grabbing her arm demanding his wallet back 8O :lol: :lol:

you know... if someone had just showed me this ad... without talking about the controversy.. I probably wouldn't have even noticed it. I would have thought what someone else said... that its a lucky woman... who gets a turn at 4 guys..... (even if they are gay!)..not some gang rape

however, when someone points it out to me... I guess I can see why they would think of it like that

The woman has bought a dress and shoes from Dolce & Gabanna ...... now she has received her credit card bill ...... of course she faint .... and there are 4 nice men who want help her ;)

dnt think of the add in that way but now itsm entioned yes i indeed see the clear picture. its undermining against women and its intended to be like a sexual submission or something. i dont like the add, really. doesnt deliver the product for me, so i have to agree with most of you here!

I can't say the ad bothers me, for the reason it's a stylised representation of a common fantasy in a clearly hypothetical situation.

I think it would be unlikely to cause normally law-abiding men to force themselves on a woman, or make violent men more likely to do so.

Jerk off maybe, rape no.

That said, it think it's adult material and shouldn't be on billboards.

:idea::idea:

I find it mildy erotic and it doesn't offend me in the slightest - I credit people with enough common sense to realise its an advertisement and not an invitation to go round throwing women to the ground and dominating them in a sexual manner.

To be honest, I think there are so many advertisements using "shock" tactics these days that the majority of people are pretty much oblivious to them - I know I am.....

The only adverts which upset me are the ones which are for speeding and smoking that use children and babies to get their point across...
