Good decision.

How is Marving the gay cat, by the way?

He's okay thanks, getting fatter by the day.

One thing that did alarm me the other day was the way he decided to wipe his arse on the carpet after he'd been in his tray 8O 8O i dont know if this si something that Chewie had taught him to do or if he'd had his male friend over for some gay action

Hows your daughter Bruno??? Im always refering to Marvin as my son and calling him mommy's boy :spank: , i need to get a life

Babs/Silv - When and if I do go I'll only be 24, surely thats not too old to spend some time in Ibiza? Like Grego says, I probably wouldnt work full time out there, I'd get a little job for a few hours a day just to keep me occupied and pay for a few nights out.

I might not work at all, although I do think it would be a good oppurtunity to make freinds out there.

I havent got a house, kids, loans, any real commitments so why not?

BTW we're actually thinking of incorporating it into a year long travelling holiday!

You change your plans as often as I change my knickers missy  I thought 2007 was the year you and Jon were getting your own place and then going travelling a few years down the line, I can't keep up with your plans  ;)

I think I know why the arse and the carpet but I can't explain it in english neither in a public forum

I think 99% of the cat's owner call them their kids and they are their mommy-daddy, me included

Bruna is very happy at the moment, we have plants in our balcony since few weeks ago and she loves them and the fly season has started, so she really can't be happier ;)

Jon's finally come round to my idea of a hedonistic lifestyle 8) Seriously though, we thought about it and we've saved up money for a mortgage, but the idea of paying off a mortgage at 23/24 seemed so grown up to me I was secretly scared 8O , I mentioned it to Jon and now he's realised that we should live it up a bit while we're still young enough to!

So you'll all have to come to our leaving celebrations in March 07 when we jet off round the world ;) Hahaa... no, everything is just being talked about at the moment, nothings definate.

I do have a real urge just to jump on a plane and get the hell out of here though!

24 looks perfect and don't think on going there to do nothing, first cos it's really expensive living there during the season and second cos that's part of the fun and as you say that would be a good oportunity to socialize

I have friends who travel all around the world from october to may and then they spend the season in Formentera as diving trainers or waiters. One of them have done the season in Menorca for two summers cos Ibiza and Formentera is very expensive even working and he can't affoard wasting his savings on there, much better to get tickets flight and all that. But, I don't know if for you being Brit it would be taht expensive

Do it Becki, if its what you want to do.

I'll be 26 when I go and I haven't got any kids/loans/commitments other than my mortgage. None of us are getting any younger and I want to travel around Europe/Asia/Australasia before I return and settle down and get on with my career.

I will have some money saved for when i go, but i'm not going on some leisurely vacation like what Babs wants, it's a working holiday and to appreciate things you have to work for them!!

 24 isn't too young to have a mortgage, I bought my first house at 22 and look at me and Tom and our lifestyle 8O  you can do both you know  ;)

Exciting plans tho missy :D

bex,

many of the people i met out there the first time were mid twenties (i just did it young i think as i was always the baby of the group (age wise i mean), even in my 3rd season). 24 is no way too old to do it.;)

babs - how often exactly do you change your knickers:?

 Cheeky monkey :p I'll have you know Becki changes her mind a lot

i guessed as much............hence my surprise. ;)

two main factors had wrongly led me to believe you were a dirrrrrrrrrty girl.
1) coming from scunny 2) always getting your baps out:lol:

bex - you are never to young or old to do anything. BUT as soon as the kids come along, any plans of world trips, seasons in ibiza or monstrous hedonistic holidays go firmly out the window. believe me!! so get busy enjoying yourself before you've got one in the oven8O 8O

   Typical Spotlight - a nice serious thread about future travelling plans ruined by cats arses rubbing on the carpet and Babs diiiiiiiiirty knickers!

I think you should do it too if you can 8) . But Babs also has a point in putting the breaks on slightly.

I know Grego had a fantastic time, and im sure there are others like him but I also know of people who came back after 3 weeks after not having found a job and spent all the money they saved up.

One thing that will help im sure is learning spanish. Grego's a fine exmple ;)
